So far this laptop is doing basic things fine but whole reason I got this was to run Oculus rift since this claims to be VR ready. Rift software says everything is ok and meets requirements but there is no video coming from the games. Will spend few more hours but don’t want to waste more time and this will be returned. Such a waste of time.

I am testing this laptop for quite some time and I believe, it is quite good, however, I wouldnt take the price as it is, since it doesnt have a 2nd HDD. Based on your need it might be +$200. I bought a secondary HDD but didnt assemble it, yet. I bought a SanDisk Ultra II 1TB SATA III SSD ($189.99). I will give the updates maybe some images once I put them together.

For the price plays Skyrim and PUBG very well and good graphics very well for the money

Un diseño elegante, un desempeño sensacional. La compré porque necesito la potencia para editar videos y otros programas de escritorio, con la movilidad de una laptop. No me ha decepcionado, es una pc magnifica.

Después de un par de meses de uso constante puedo decir que la computadora ha superado muchísimo mis expectativas, y no sólo en cuanto a los videojuegos sino también en los distintos softwares que utilizo día a día. Los drivers se mantienen actualizados constantemente gracias a NVIDIA GeForce Experience. Si gustan algún videojuego popular como referencia: Fortnite y Apex Legends corren sin problemas en configuraciones altas.

I just made a huge jump from a 2013 Hp laptop to this one.... Acer is crazy for this one haha! This is the most powerful device in my house right now. I’m probably going to use it to make Youtube videos and play video games. You can play fortnite on this thing with ULTRA settings no joke!!!

You must put a fan pad under it. It gets very hot running Battlefield 4. You will hit shutdown in a hot room and running and gunning at 108p if you do not cool it. The W key area will be hot to the touch- no joking. That aside, cooking or not, I bought it in 2018 and use it today for gaming and Inventor. Complex models could use more RAM, but for most folks doing big spreadsheets, CAD and some gaming (not the latest and greatest games anyway) it does real good. I am going to continue using it for CAD and games, but will be driving multiple printers with it and switching over to a desktop for heavy CAD and games.

Purchased as it was amazons choice and a great price for a gaming PC. Was good for a while with minimal use and all of a sudden the screen damaged out of nowhere while watching Netflix. I do enjoy the pc but the quality of the screen doesn’t seem to last long.
