The laptop kept crashing and giving blue screens of death from day one right out of the box. Couldnt fix despite doing all necessary updates and troubleshooting. Ended up returning to get a refund because i didnt want to even bother trying to get a new one after that.

This little laptop is a Beast.. actually, a “Predator.” Out of the box it is ready to go. 16 GB Ram in Dual Channel, the 1660ti is far more powerful than I thought it would be. The backlit keyboard does indeed have four zones to control the color... I prefer the wave pattern.

Oh wow does it get hot. Like, so hot you cant even touch the keyboard. Not only that but the cpu basically cooks itself, 92°C on a basic game. Its so bad I tried returning it but got no help at all, so...

I am truly impressed with this gaming laptop... it seems to be well built, but a bit heavy, although that was expected.

Why a company would lock the bios from the user and require physical modification to the chip is beyond me. Cant dual boot this machine as I would have to take it into a repair facility because Acer for some reason doesnt think that the community cant take care of their own devices. I wont be purchasing an Acer again.

Use it for gaming, university work and programming. This laptop can run triple A titles on the high settings

This laptop can do everything. Its only only for gaming. I use it a lot for video editing. though I upgraded the RAM to 16mb. This laptop is a beast. I LOVE it. If you are looking for a great laptop, look no further.... go for Acer Predator Helios 300. Thank you....

Awesome powerful gaming system. It powers up fast and shuts down easily. Updating the graphics card is an easy step through step process when needed it. The design is awesome. I love the lit up features. It doesn’t come with a mouse, so order a good simple gaming mouse or you’ll be stuck with the mouse screen.

Noticable Screen back light .Battery life is very poor 1 hour for light use 35 min for gaming if you use without plug in. Other than that its a perfect machine for the price.
