> 3 daySo, I got this laptop so I could start pc gaming for the first time, and I love it so far. However, the first day of having it, Ive noticed that the charging indicator would flash orange nonstop after a full. Ive tried calibrating the battery(No flash for 2 days), battery resetting(No flash for 10 hours), unplugging the battery(No change). None of these things would get that darn light to stop flashing. So, to remedy this issue, Ive changed the battery. Low and behold, it never has flashed orange since. First thing I recommend with this laptop is change the battery ASAP for two reasons. 1. The battery life isnt very long. 2. Prevent that issue that I ran into when buying mine.(plus it lasts 4 hours longer than the one it came with.)

> 3 dayIf the lights dont show, try pushing in adapter all the way in, I got worried until I found it, the adapter needed to go all the way in, its a bit stiff but yeah works just fine and is amazing

> 3 dayNice reasonably priced gaming laptop. Day after I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter, I found one at a local discount freight store for 400, just lucky I guess. If I wouldn’t have found the cheaper one I would’ve been happy with this one. So as far as quality;; this laptop is great !! And even without the freight discount markdowns I would have been ok with it because it’s still a good and economical choice

> 3 dayWhen I opened the laptop and plugged it in there was absolutely no activity, charging light did not turn on and laptop had no precharge. After a panicky hour of trying to figure out whats wrong with my brand new very expensive laptop, and realizing how many one star reviews were here for this exact issue, I cannot stress this enough, SHOVE THE CHARGER IN. It is VERY SNUG and you really REALLY have to push it hard. There is a very significant click of the charger going in, and as soon as it did everything was fine. Havent used it yet, but wanted to update, as I now understand what all the one star reviews about this laptop being DOA are really about. Happy gaming!

> 3 dayThe lap top is working as expected, with 800 USD you were able to get a 3050 GPU, which is good for most light duty game like CS go, DOTA2, etc. Which is good enough for me. Unlike those ultra book, this one has slot RAM and can be upgrade to like 32GB and another stat HDD slot, but they dont include cable and socket. I believe youd have to do some research how to solid one. It looks like a good deal for light gamer.

> 3 dayI was so disappointed, lab top would not power on. Tried several know good plugs, charging light would not come on. This is a total waste of time. Do not waste your money. Do not fall for the reviews or the hype. Not worth it.

12-11-2024We bought this laptop NEW for our son for Christmas last year. Right before Christmas, we unpackaged the laptop to get it all set up so it was ready to go Christmas morning. To our surprise - the laptop would not turn on. We tried several different ways and we still could not get the laptop to turn on. So, we called Acer customer service to see what was going on. The Acer rep told us that our laptop had been serviced in September for issues! We told him that that couldn’t be so because we just bought it brand new off of Amazon - he insisted that it was a refurbished laptop and even had case #’s for the services done to the laptop in September. We immediately called Amazon, to complain that we had purchased a new laptop from them and had received a used one. It took a half hour of bickering with the rep before she offered to “speak with her manager” to issue us a refund of the difference in price. Unfortunately, it was too close to Christmas to return and receive an actual new laptop in time for Christmas morning. Amazon eventually gave me the refund of the price difference and the rep stated that “Amazon has no control over whether a customer receives a refurbished or NEW laptop!” Are you kidding me?! They are sure to make you pay different price points though - even though they don’t know what you’re actually going to receive.
