This is my first laptop after a decade and I am very happy to purchase this one. So many good words about Nitro 5s, even this one is not one of the better ones, I added another 8Gb ram and 2 TB 2.5 SSD to make it bit more usable. Not that anything wrong with 8Gb ram and 256Gb SSD but 8Gb rams are not that expensive at all these days.. I had 2TB SSD from my big computer, just switched it over. Talking about upgrading the laptop, its so easy. Comes with everything you need to add another 2.5 SSD. YouTube videos helped me out though, made my job a lot easier. This computer does play FPS games, and plays them very smooth. The fans start running though, and you might think its overheating, thats not the case, its normal. They dont go full speed. I also play mobile games and stream through laptop... no heating no fan issues at all... its like so smooth and easy for the machine. For this price, I highly recommend it, if you are in a tight budged like I am. One more thing for this laptop, I am going to travel Europe next year, and it wont be problem bringing it with me, since it is travel friendly :)

doesnt seem to perform 3 times better than the average laptop, despite costing 3x as much. not sure it was a great investment for me. Id have given it 4 stars if it wasnt so expensive.

Its RAM is kinda bluh but Im planning on buying myself memory sticks! Its a really good laptop though and Im enjoying being able to have a gamer laptop for the price of a normal one? Its keyboard doesnt stay lit, but Im sure that makes it more worth it in the end. Because it prioritized your laptops energy over all else.

I’ve only had this product for a day and about to take it on a trip, I’ll update if anything goes wrong but here it goes.

Runs everything at 144+ Fps on external screen. (Im talking GTA on high settings) Ive been in the pro scene of gaming on Xbox and this delivers for comp gameplay. Siege 200+ Fps. Fortnite 300+Fps. GTA 144+ Fps. Warzone 100+ Fps. Valorant 400+Fps. Runs VR great aswell. This is a great pickup for gaming but the storage drive is a little lacking at 256 gigs.

This computer is awesome! Only issue is low storage space but the computer came with an adaptor chord!

Hands down the most inefficient hunk of ******* garbage I’ve ever had played games on, I must have a bad unit or something wrong with mine because no way anyone at acer company owns one of these more or less had used it in the last 6 years and said “oh yes it’s 700” Owned mine for about a month now and regretting it at least once a day. So dam tired with this 5 min boot at least, constant thermo throttling, and incredibly bad interior design, pc turns to a grill on my legs, and the super ***** processor they put in this from 2009! THIS IS A NAME BRAND COMPANY FOR **** SAKE!!! Buy the higher end model or don’t buy it at all I have no idea how anyone gave this 5 stars, BY FAR THE WORST AND SLOWEST CONSOLE IVE EVER PLAYED GAMES ON ( go buy any other brand and model for this price range I wish I would have done the same!!!)

The laptop has a hard time staying connected to the internet with the ethernet cable. Its very laggy which makes this system very unstable for playing games. What you see in the video is me in the middle of a game teleporting somewhere and the whole screen just stay frozen. As soon as you start up the game the fan is going crazy and it blows out a lot of hot air underneath the left side of the laptop and its loud.

My son could not wait for this computer. He uses it every day and loves it, Says it is the best and so happy. His friend recommended this to him who know everything about computers- probably can build his own. My son loves all things technical so I trust him and says - get it ! Never once complained about it! He would say something the first day- not a peep !

Purchased on november 2021, computer suddenly stopped booting, just shows blank screen, and keyboard lights up but nothing else happens.
