> 3 dayFinancially on my own and only able to work part time I sacrificed a lot of money for an Acer laptop. I figured it would be worth it to make my school work easier. However, just a month after purchasing it it started making a high pitched noise. I called customer service and they told me it might be the hard drive as the sound goes away when I type on the keyboard. I sacrificed more money to send the laptop in for repairs and went without my laptop for a month which was quite difficult as a full time student. All this just for them to send it back with the same problem. They told me they couldnt test the laptop to see if the problem was fixed because I didnt give my permission. I had assumed my permission was implied. I sent it back, again struggling without a laptop but at least this shipment was paid for. Unfortunately, it was returned once more with the same invasive high pitched ringing noise that only leaves when I type on the keyboard. Im trying to be reasonable but I feel justified in being upset with Acer. I spent all that money with the promise of relieving my stress as a college student, but instead my stress has greatly increased and I continue to be without a laptop.

30-10-2024Decent for the price. Good for basic home or school computing. Onboard memory a bit sparse would recommend upgrading with an 8gb memory module. Will then give you a total of 11.9 gb memory of which 9.9 gb is useable. Shared video takes up the other 2 gb. Comes with 4 gb soldered to the mother board and one open slot. Bought this for my daughter for school and general use. She is quite pleased with it. 128 gb ssd not a lot of storage if you plan on using this as a dedicated laptop. All in all. I would say a great little laptop for the money, but dont just take my word for it read the reviews.

> 3 dayThe speakers are extremely low... Youre going to have to use external speakers... I had to get a external DVD drive but thats becoming standard with slim laptops these days... For $350 on sale it does what I want for travel... it has good video resolution so its good for movies if you dont mind carrying around speakers and DVD drive with it....

> 3 dayI was really happy with this laptop for a year, and thought it was one of the best purchases Ive made, but when the Enter and Backspace keys stopped working as they should, the laptop became very frustrating to use. At some point I just pulled the 2 key caps off in order to eliminate the stuck keys.
