I was really happy with this laptop for a year, and thought it was one of the best purchases Ive made, but when the Enter and Backspace keys stopped working as they should, the laptop became very frustrating to use. At some point I just pulled the 2 key caps off in order to eliminate the stuck keys.

Excelente producto, nada malo que decir, le actualice la memoria a 12gb y le puse un hdd como segundo disco, el equipo es super rapido. La tapa es de aluminio lo que le da un look premiun.

My Gateway laptop has been getting slower and slooowwwwer for a while to the point where it took me (no exaggeration) 15 minutes to boot...and it was getting glitchy besides. Ive had Acers before and theyve been good machines so I thought Id give this one a shot. Im not in the least disappointed. The pros:

I know a lot of people love this computer, and Im sure its great for them.

This is another laptop where you have to keep the price at the forefront. In the price range of high-end Chromebooks, I cant help but be impressed with the package that Acer gives you, with some caveats.

My lid / hinge connection broke after a few months. The hinge is abnormally stiff putting a lot of pressure on the lid.

Good for home use

Laptop worked for a little bit then wont turn on. Weird lines appeared on screen.

Aspire 5 Windows 10 . Nice computer to browse the net watch videos, chat record videos audio. I take it with me , I use the internet through my phones hot spot. Im very happy with this laptop. I bought this last year around August was hesitant about how to use it the price is about the same as of June 2022. Its really convenient to when u wanna see videos that u recorded and quick edit them and repost.

So far it’s been a good computer for us. I like how it starts up quickly and the processing speed is good. It’s my first time buying an Acer, and if the good continues, it certainly won’t be my last.
