Everything about this laptop is perfect for me. I am a college student and actually wrote an essay about how great it is. Great features, fantastic battery life, design is phenomenal. It is just beautiful piece of machinery!!!!

I had purchase a 14 from another company but saw this on before it was delivered. So happy I did because this is what I wanted at a lower cost.

I got this laptop for my daughter July 2021 for school and home, i noticed the power cord tip when plug into the laptop is not tight is loose, i dont think it come with the right power cord. Other than that this laptop overall its been great no problems at all, school, home, games, Minecraft, ROBLOX, videos fast doesnt lag. I will recommended.

Purchased Sept 2019 and I had to send this laptop back to Texas to the Acer company for repair as mine stopped charging completely in less than a year and I had to pay shipping although it was still under warranty. After less than 2 years the keys started failing and then it stopped turning on completely. Now it is dead in Nov 2021 and I am shopping for a new laptop, while my Toshiba from 2010 is still running.

Financially on my own and only able to work part time I sacrificed a lot of money for an Acer laptop. I figured it would be worth it to make my school work easier. However, just a month after purchasing it it started making a high pitched noise. I called customer service and they told me it might be the hard drive as the sound goes away when I type on the keyboard. I sacrificed more money to send the laptop in for repairs and went without my laptop for a month which was quite difficult as a full time student. All this just for them to send it back with the same problem. They told me they couldnt test the laptop to see if the problem was fixed because I didnt give my permission. I had assumed my permission was implied. I sent it back, again struggling without a laptop but at least this shipment was paid for. Unfortunately, it was returned once more with the same invasive high pitched ringing noise that only leaves when I type on the keyboard. Im trying to be reasonable but I feel justified in being upset with Acer. I spent all that money with the promise of relieving my stress as a college student, but instead my stress has greatly increased and I continue to be without a laptop.

Im left-handed and most new laptops with fingerprint readers are on the right side of the keyboard. I was pleasantly surprised to find this one had a reader on the left side of the trackpad. The backlight keyboard works great, it instantly comes on when you press a key, and then turns off with good timing. The processor is 4 core and to me, works great. I run SQL server locally to do some database work, but mostly use web-based apps to do graphic design, and build websites. I added extra ddr4 3200 ram to bring it to 20gb, but it runs at 2666mhz. The only bad part and a con are the speakers. Located at the bottom of the laptop, it doesnt get enough volume and I usually set to the top of the volume scale.
