> 3 dayI used this monitor as my second monitor. I loved it and would continue to use it but I downgraded my desk area so its too big for my new desk space. Came back to write a review and was shocked by the increase in price which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. When I bought this monitor, it was $105 in March 2020 and now is $237? I dont think that its worth the extra $137 but it did work well for me.

> 3 dayYou notice the colors first. Everything is more brilliant. Sharper image, exact colors, etc. I thought it might be too big for a home office but no, its just right. Some websites are better viewed on the bigger screen, a nice, visual effect that enhances the whole surfing experience. Very satisfied w/ my purchase and it also makes my computer appear to be faster b/c it loads the images faster; something I didnt expect but really appreciate, a byproduct of the different cable I suppose. Much better monitor all round and money well spent. I am not a gamer so cannot give any rating for that. 23 May 21 - b/c it is a bigger screen area you may have to adjust the display parameters. I have a Mac Mini and it was not so difficult to do. You need to play around w/ the values a little to get it just right.

> 3 dayThe monitor is nice but the stand is big and not adjustable. It takes up quite a bit of desk space in front of the monitor.

> 3 dayGreat ACER monitor, fair price, I just wish it had VESA attachments for wall and stand mounting.

> 3 day4.5/5 Stars. Bought this on 09/04/2016. I was using a 21 TN Monitor before this. My use case is pretty general. I do some design work on the side at times, no gaming or anything. The setting I use during the day is Standard, but I turned off the blue light setting and set OSD to 0. At night, I use a custom setting -- the same as my Standard one, but the brightness is set to 10. I also use f.lux (warms up the color of your display to match your room at night) which I highly recommend if you are looking at your screen for as long as I do. PROS: - For the price, this monitor was far better than I expected. - The screen size is an upgrade from a laptop and 21 monitor. Not sure if I can go back to a very clunky bezel for long-term use now. - Colors are good. No dead pixels. No ghosting. - The non-glossy screen is exactly what I hoped for. - The power brick -- its pretty small compared to some Ive seen other screens come with. - Very lightweight. Easy to put together without any issues. CONS: - It is very wobbly and easy to tip simply by pressing the power button. That is the cost of having it be lightweight, I suppose. I can see it being knocked over very easily, so I do not recommend placing it anywhere too precarious. Definitely not near children or nosy pets unless it is weighted down solidly. - Man, it is BRIGHT. At times, this is really helpful for certain things. If you are a hermit like me that enjoys sitting in the dark, well -- youll have to adjust to that a bit. - The settings are difficult to navigate through. There is no way to tell the difference between exit/back, up/down, forward, and power on/off. Even after a year, I still accidentally hit the wrong button here or there sometimes. I put small piece of tape on the power button so I can feel the difference. OVERALL: I think this is a really good monitor to start with and I am happy with it.

> 3 dayI returned them, so anything I say will be limited in knowledge. Firstly, I got these because I was recommended them by a friend. This was my first mistake. Because I took my friends recommendation, I didnt read the product description and failed to realize these monitors do not have VESA compatibility. That in and of itself is not a deal breaker. I happened to have a VESA adapter on hand, but when I set it up... Yikes. It didnt work with the adapter at all no matter what I did. I dont know if thats the monitors fault or the VESA adapters fault, but after a half hour of struggle, I was getting frustrated. With the monitor connected to the adapter the best that I could get it, I decided to test the monitor itself by plugging it in and turning it on. That went about as smoothly as was expected. The monitor itself seems like it has nice quality, but for some reason everything on my screen was just off quality-wise. The resolution was incredibly wrong and could not be fixed no mater what I changed my display settings to. The color wasnt right either. A half hour of struggling with the display settings later, I was at peak frustration and turned the computer off to salvage my mental health. During this time, I spoke with the friend who recommended them, and we agreed it was time to return the monitors. I ended up turning the computer on one last time to print the return label, and at that point, the resolution was actually not terrible. I guess turning the computer on and back off again helped reset whatever was causing me problems. I actually considered keeping the monitors to try and see if I could troubleshoot the rest myself, but I ultimately decided to return them. In conclusion, I think these are probably good monitors. They just did not work for me, and I dont know if its because my monitors were faulty, my equipment was faulty, or if it was something else entirely. I personally just do not have the skills or knowledge to troubleshoot computer problems, especially when setting up a monitor should be a piece of cake. I ended up buying another Acer monitor, and it worked instantly with no struggling or troubleshooting, so take that as you will. 7/10 did not work for me but could have been great for someone else (maybe)

> 3 dayNot much in this area on reviews on this monitor, so just want to say I plugged it in, Powered up my MacMini and was amazed. I can see details in the shadows in brightly lit pictures. The colors are vibrant. There is a headphone jack on the back so I guess it has sound, my speakers are plugged into my computer. I did use a HDMI cable to connect, but it did come with a vga cable included. I didnt know what I was missing. This is the 23.8 version and for the money, I feel I got a great buy. I am a cheapo about some items and I dont get carried away on monitors. Ever. So, for the money, this is a really good buy. Hmmmm, now to figure out how to turn down the brightness a bit. ADDITION: So Ive been using this for a couple of days now. I work from home and use a computer to accomplish my job. I had no idea how much I was missing. First of all, I figured out how to turn down the brightness, and it wasnt rocket science but secondly the picture and text are so clear, vibrant, easy to read, rich, a pleasure to view... what else can I say about viewing stuff on a computer that I saw every day but without the detail that I can see now. Wow, I was missing a lot and didnt even know it. Yeah, Im liking this a lot. I know its new and have no clue how long it will last, but Im happy for now.

> 3 dayEl primer monitor que me enviaron tenia un defecto de fabrica en los laterales de la pantalla, lo devolví y me han enviado uno nuevo que esta perfecto, sorprende mucho la calidad de imagen y colores, también es bastante luminoso, realmente no se puede pedir mas por el precio que se paga.
