Received product and only one of the bulbs worked. No outside issue to bulb but it would not heat.

Not hot enough for an open brooder for chick’s. Closed brooder works great.

My lizard is happy with the heat. Seems to be doing the job. The temp gauge is not functioning properly. Chose not to return as I seriosly needed to lamp most of all.

Update: I was supposed to get a replacement thermometer which has yet to happen. If your looking for a few decent ceramic heater for a good price I’d say go for it but if you have high hopes for a thermometer don’t hold your breath. I can tell you so far the heat lamps seem to work okay but the thermometer that comes with it won’t turn on. If your going to sell something as a package deal at least make sure the whole package is useful. Not to mention it looks like something you’d win from a skill crane at the bowling alley.

Using these heat lamps in my tortoise enclosure. I thought they would produce more heat. But I just used both heat lamps one on each end of enclosure
