Priced these in store, as well as online. You cant beat Amazons prices. Ive had them for about 6 months and have had no issues so far. I bought them for my 75 gallon reptile tank and these keep it at about 85 degrees. The thermometer seemed kind of cheap but I didnt use it anyways.

Right out of the box, the screw base was off center (see photo). The black is not part of the ceramic but a cheap looking coating that is scuffed in several places (see photo). As I know improperly assembled heating elements are a fire hazard, I plugged one of the heaters in to keep a close eye on it - it immediately started giving off a burning smell. I shut it down and will be returning the purchase. Do not purchase this item - even if my experience was a fluke, the risk of a fire from a faulty heat emitter is too high to gamble.

Bought the two pack first one died within a month with lite use. See how long the second one will last.

Order this for a project I was working on for my bearded dragon and both of the are actually too hot for him but they work as stated.

These suck. This is only warm to the touch. For a small fish take you would provably need 2 or 3. They definitely arent good I think. Wish I could get my money back. I should have known when they offer a gift when you but I guess that should tell you something.

I switched over to this after I was tired of random burnt-out heating bulbs. I swapped this in and have not looked back, it seems to keep the temp at around 74F in my aquarium no matter the time of day.

Using on 4 of my snakes tank. Output more heat and last longer than incandescent bulbs.
