Using these heat lamps in my tortoise enclosure. I thought they would produce more heat. But I just used both heat lamps one on each end of enclosure

When I ordered the first time one bulb didn’t work and it was replaced with two. That’s fantastic until you need to take the bulb out. The part that screws in comes apart. Now I have three heat emitters I had to trash. If they are made so poorly having to change them to new clamp lamps one time only and fall apart I have wasted my money but added a do not buy name to my list

These bulbs were bigger than what I had thought they were when I ordered them. When I ordered the lamp for these, they came with a smaller size or diameter UV bulb that has the similar shape to these bulbs. I figured they were going to be the same in size. Wrong! These heat bulbs are much larger, so they will require a heat shield or can for the bulb to be recessed in. To protect anyone who may be reaching around the bulb. Because they do and will burn you if they are on! They get very hot and burn on contact!!

No clue on the heat output as I never received the thermometer that was supposed to come with it. I need to contact them about that. Tho, I do feel heat radiating from it when I hover my hand. So far so good.

I ordered this 2-pack and glad I did. We plugged the first one in and it burned out within the hour. The 2nd is still going good after 3 days, though. And the bonus therm works great.

These were pretty good, but only worked for like a month or two. Will look for another brand. Maybe my pack was defective or something,..

Bought 2 pack, 1 is broke and does not even warm up. Waste of money

Terrible product, does not put out hardly any heat, if your animals depend on this they most likely will freeze

Worked well for our reptiles.
