> 3 dayI started using this desiccant pack in my camera bag. I was getting tired of using the throw-away gel packs that turn to liquid when the pack needs replacing. Since the camera bag is exposed to all kinds of temp changes here in the Northwest I was buying too many & they are not always easy to find locally. This pack is about the size of a bar of soap & fits easily in my bag. I like the feature that shows when you need to renew the desiccant. I plan on buying a couple more for protecting some electronic equip & a watch collection. I recommend this product.

> 3 dayJust what I was looking for to toss into a few of the storage bins I have for artwork, clothing, electronics. Love the size/volume and ease of refreshing the silica beads.

> 3 dayDesiccants are long-term drying solutions. Weve used other (no longer available) ones in local home storage and for international shipping of our clothing and goods. So, how do you test a new desiccant for long-term storage? Placing a soaked sponge in a large sealed plastic container, with both a local and a remote-reading hygrometer, after 24 hours the humidity level was almost 100%. Placing one packet DryTote in the container for another 24 hours, the humidity dropped to the 63% ambient humidity. Checking it, the sponge had been sucked almost dry. After this controlled, 48 hour test, I can confidently recommend this as a working desiccant. How many months and years it will work in our boxes and luggage remains to be seen, but with periodic recharging, these may be better than the ones that they replaced.

> 3 dayThe dessicants are used for a closed area that can get musty. Works very well!

Greater than one weekThe soft pillows of desiccant are perfect for any number of uses where you need to protect items or products from atmospheric moisture. For example, I am a woodturner and I use them in a lidded coffee can to protect my bottles of CA glue. I am also a photographer and use them to protect my storage-bin archive of 35mm slides. The ability to regenerate them in 3 minutes using a microwave is far more convenient than all the other units that I have to bake in an oven for an hour or two. I will update this posting when I have more experience on the frequency of regeneration and the longevity of the dessicant... but, for now, they are 100% in my book!

> 3 dayA while back I purchased some German made desiccant packs in fabric bags. I really like them, but their arent available anymore. When I found these, I thought Id give then a try. They are great, high capacity, and I like the indicator patch. It lets you know when its time to regenerate it. Among other things, I use them in sealed boxes to store 3D filament. I put an humidity indicator strip in the container. It says the humidity is less that 10% and has stayed there for some time.
