As I said, I liked the service. The product has been put into service only a few days. Not enough to evaluate yet.

I put a few of these in mini-fridges when I ship them for a trade shows since they will usually have some residual moisture, or in full size fridges when I pack up the summer home for the winter. Gives me a peace of mind there will not be any mold when I go to use them in the future.

Finally, a solution to our perennial problem. Every year we close up our RV for the winter, and every spring we find little bits of mold here and there. But not anymore. One in the cabinet, one in the storage, and most importantly, one in the mini fridge. After seeing these little guys in action, were ordering some more for around the house.

I bought these to protect astronomy equipment from excessive moisture. I recently had my gear out to do some astrophotography and when I was finished left the tripod and mount outside under a weather-proof cover. I knew it was going to be a humid night so I placed one of these on the tripod accessory tray, directly under the mount. When I removed the cover the following morning my gear was dripping with moisture. The desiccant pack? Dry and the indicator was blue. I also put one of these in our safe several weeks ago, replacing a much larger moisture remover that requires recharging via plugin to an A/C outlet. When I checked it today the indicator was still blue. Cant say for sure if its working or not. It smelled rather musty when I opened the safe, but I suppose time will tell.

I put one of these in my outdoor tool box. In fact I think all tool boxes ought to have one of these. The fact you can recharge it is a big plus. But if youre working in a humid environment -- invaluable.

Im using them to keep humidity levels low where I store my 3D printer filament. Im getting better prints now that I can keep my filament dry.

I was concerned that the bag material might melt or ignite prematurely and damage documents in a fireproof / waterproof document chest. The vendor quickly confirmed the bag was polyester and would melt at 265 degrees which is below the 350 F rating for the fireproof chest. Having the knowledge about a polyester bag, the solution is to place the bag in the bottom of the chest and place a small barrier between the desiccant bag and the documents. Polyester ignites at about the same temperature as the paper so that strategy will maximize protection of the wills and other valuable documents in the unlikely event of a fire where I may not survive. Of course, if I survive a damaging incident then all documents can be replaced. I really appreciate the speed in which the vendor responded to my question.
