> 3 dayEDIT OCTOBER 2021: I take it all back. These lights stopped working after just two months. I unplugged them to use the socket for something else, and now they wont turn on again after replugging. Both the remote and physical button dont turn the lights on. Weirdly enough, pushing the button turns on a green LED by the USB (not the actual lights), even when not plugged in. Im very disappointed. Original Review: These curtain lights are nice enough. I appreciate that they plug in via USB, and that theres a remote. Their presence introduces a great ambiance in my room. I just have a couple gripes. First, I wish the lights could be a bit brighter. Second, I wish the twinkle setting was a bit slower-- its still a bit jarring, not quite a strobe, but not quite the vibe I was looking for. Lastly, the remote control design has a huge confusing aspect: the on button is red and off button is green. Yeah, theyre labeled, but I always forget, and you see color before you read the words. Not sure who came up with that. But again, these are all pretty minor, so all in all I think theyre fine.

> 3 dayI like the product easy to put and very bright but adjustable. Did have trouble with one strand. Ubs plug became very hot and to me this is a fire hazard. I had no trouble returning defective product.

> 3 dayBought these for my daughter’s room and after 6 months they went out. So I figure for $10 I’d buy them again. The second set was worse with only half the set of lights working. I realIs they’re inexpensive but is still expect them to come in fully working condition. I’d say skip these and buy something else, even if they’re more money. These are a joke.

> 3 dayThese lights were so cute hanging on my wall. Ive owned it for about 4 months. I didnt have it set on a recurring timer and just clicked it on periodically. I probably had it on a combined 4 hours at most. Unfortuantely, I went to click on the lights today with my remote and they did not click on. I pressed the button on the USB and the button lit up, but not the rest of the lights. Reading the comments, I guess this is normal. If you want the product to last, look elsewhere.

Greater than one weekThese were really great, I loved them. But they suddenly stopped working. Now I have to buy new ones! I would find a bit more expensive ones and stick with those because the price might be good on this product but the long-lasting quality is not.

> 3 dayIt lasted about 10 months for me, then just stopped, not sure why, I also havent been using it that much. It happens to be the the only one of this size on amazon (as of 10 months ago) that will at least pretend to fit your doorway. The different modes are cool, less cool though is the unison flashing some of them have, if you could get a seizure from an arcade, I feel the same applies here. You can just avoid those modes though. The hooks were very useful personally. But the lights come tied up in a circle, this is very annoying to undo while prevent them from tangling, and you never really get the curves to come to all the way. Which depending on how you want it to look may not matter. There is the faintest high pitched hum if you put your head near the plug-in port, but not noticeable in day to day matters. otherwise the brightness is great, you can adjust it, havent tried the timer thing yet. It may take a few clicks from the remote to turn it on or off. I intend to buy another one simply to avoid the ordeal of hunting a new set down.
