> 24 hourHung in March 2022, 1 string stopped working in May, only used sporadically. 2nd string stopped working in June. Lights would often come on without turning them on, all by themselves. I do not recommend.

> 24 hourThese have been running 24/7 in my kitchen window behind the sheer curtain for over a month and I really love them, still bright and none have been burnt out

> 24 hourEDIT OCTOBER 2021: I take it all back. These lights stopped working after just two months. I unplugged them to use the socket for something else, and now they wont turn on again after replugging. Both the remote and physical button dont turn the lights on. Weirdly enough, pushing the button turns on a green LED by the USB (not the actual lights), even when not plugged in. Im very disappointed. Original Review: These curtain lights are nice enough. I appreciate that they plug in via USB, and that theres a remote. Their presence introduces a great ambiance in my room. I just have a couple gripes. First, I wish the lights could be a bit brighter. Second, I wish the twinkle setting was a bit slower-- its still a bit jarring, not quite a strobe, but not quite the vibe I was looking for. Lastly, the remote control design has a huge confusing aspect: the on button is red and off button is green. Yeah, theyre labeled, but I always forget, and you see color before you read the words. Not sure who came up with that. But again, these are all pretty minor, so all in all I think theyre fine.

> 24 hourListen. I have wanted to have string lights in my bedroom since I was very small, okay? So I have had a really, really long time to look forward to this, and to endlessly shop around by length/color/functions/power source, and to read all the reviews, both good and bad. I was very deliberate when I picked these, and my hopes for them were very high. There was a lot of pressure on these lights to refrain from crushing my inner child, basically. I hung them on 1/2/23 (yesterday, as of writing this), so only time will tell whether or not theyll outlast the dud sets that some of the negative reviewers received.... But my first and VERY confident impression is that THEYRE EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED! AM I YELLING? GOOD! LOOK HOW SHIMMERY THEY ARE! First off, I love that I got these for $9.99, because that was pretty much the extent of my budget for novelty lights. But weirdly enough, I also love that they were previously listed for about $17, because I was always taught you get what you pay for, and you never want to buy the cheapest thing, because the quality will be cheap also. You want to buy the medium-priced thing when its on SALE for as little as the cheapest thing. Thats the pro move. Mounting them was incredibly simple; the hardest part was standing on my mattress (which was my own dumb idea and thats not the lights fault). I used 6 skinny nails to hook the little hangers on. I was very impressed that the set came with its own nails, in addition to its set of adhesive mounting brackets, so the mounting method can be consumers choice, but I opted for my own nails, which were longer and seemed like the most secure way to go. If this saves anyone time: I measured about 8.5 between each of the little hangers, so I spaced the nails 8.5 apart, making sure each one was the same distance from the ceiling to ensure the line would be straight. I love that they plug in, rather than draining through every battery I own. If youre plugging them into a wall socket like I did, youll need a USB adapter, but I had some spares, so that was no problem. The only other thing that even SLIGHTLY resembles an inconvenience is that the 8 modes arent labeled on the remote, so if you havent memorized them from this page, it takes some trial-and-error to pick the mode you want. My favorite modes are 8 (solid) and 2 (steady twinkling). Everything else on the remote is clearly labeled and completely straightforward. The dimmer is perfect; I usually prefer the lowest brightness, for a subtle, delicate shimmer, though Ill sometimes use the medium setting in the daytime. (Pictured are half brightness and full brightness.) Its SO convenient to have a remote. I refused to even consider any sets of curtain lights that didnt come with one, since its not exactly convenient for me to reach down to the socket between my bed and wall every time. The strands stay pretty curly after you uncoil them, and I wanted mine to hang straight so they wouldnt get caught in my bedding, so I VERY LIGHTLY AND CAREFULLY pulled each one straight down and LOOSELY secured each end to the wall with a small piece of Scotch tape. I left enough slack that each strand can still be moved back and forth like a guitar string. Ill probably remove the pieces of tape later, once they hang straight on their own. Theyre incredibly simple to operate. Theyre gorgeous. Theyre singlehandedly combatting my post-holiday seasonal depression and reversing my hatred of January. My childhood dreams are real, my room is sparkly, and I almost have no problems. I think my GPA is retroactively going up. Theres a glowing waterfall of pure serotonin in my bedroom now. I. LOVE. Them. If youre thinking about trying this set, just do it. Sure, there seems to be a chance that youll get a dud, but if that happens, youre only out $10 (and might be able to snag a refund or replacement, at that), and the ratio of good reviews to bad ones says you probably wont get a dud. Its not a big risk, and the payoff is totally worth it. LOOK HOW PRETTY. MY ROOM IS INSTAGRAMMABLE NOW. AND I DONT EVEN HAVE AN INSTAGRAM.

> 24 hourBought these lights to replace a previous curtain that died. I love how easy they are to hang up on our curtain rods. The biggest gripe I have, though, is that I wish the memory function stuck when they’re turned off entirely, or that the default mode was solid instead of blinky. We have our whole light setup plugged into a smart plug and when we turn the smart plug off and then back on, it’s blinky and we have to remote them to the solid lights instead of blinky. Not a major issue, just an added step. Otherwise, I love the look of these lights and the ease of use!

> 24 hourI like the product easy to put and very bright but adjustable. Did have trouble with one strand. Ubs plug became very hot and to me this is a fire hazard. I had no trouble returning defective product.

> 24 hourBought for kids room, work great and look great. They love them. Weve bought a few different brands for all the kids and theyve all seemed to work great. They do tangle easy but once they are hanging they are good

> 24 hourMy daughter loved these she got at Christmas. They are super cute. However, four months later and the lights will not stay on a certain setting. They flicker and change settings so you never know what the lights will be doing.

> 24 hourThis item broke within four weeks of having it. We had it turned on only a handful of times and by week four, none of the lights are working. We tried to turn it on with the remote and power button and neither worked. I am no longer eligible for a return and I have tried to contact the shop through Amazon and have not gotten a reply. Find a more reputable brand or buy at your local brick and mortar store.
