Im sure these are great lights but I cant endorse that! The first one I ordered was flickering and dimming right away. The replacement came damaged and the third one I ordered myself again was used. Im done!

Like the title says, havent had any issues - either with the bulb itself or with my turtle reacting to it. Its been exactly what Ive needed and will continue to purchase these into the foreseeable future. I really recommend these, just watch your turtle to make sure they dont have any negative reactions. And if your bulb burns out soon, Id say either your bulb was bad or your lamp is faulty.

Not worth it. Burnt out in 1 month.

Its effective if placed within 9 inches of basking area. They last about 1 year at 10 hours a day and then recommended to be replaced. It was $5 cheaper than local pet store. I pay them a ton every week on Crickets and Superworms so I need to save on supplies. .

I bought this for our red-eared slider turtles habitat. It works great, and is cheaper than in the pet stores! Just an FYI---this bulb does NOT produce heat; youll need a separate bulb/fixture for that.
