> 3 dayLower wattage than what I expected. Not really appropriate for 40 gal breeders tank I have my plated lizards in. Maybe use it on fire-bellied toad in ten gallon tank.

> 3 dayWith no real way to tell, all I can say is it is a compact fluorescent that hopefully emits the proper amount of UVB for tropical reptiles. I use this particular one for land hermit crabs and an alligator snapping turtle. The turtle isnt a basking species, but it did climb onto driftwood occasionally its first year though it no longer does. I dont know if it needs UVB rays on the tip of its snout that protrudes above the water to breathe, but the plant life appreciates it. The hermit crabs are also an unknown, but given how little is really certain about their captive care Im trying to cover all bases. They tend to prefer evenings, but will come out in the full light at times. The bulbs have so far all lasted over their six month potent life.

> 3 dayIt has an bright led hue to it as opposed to the Exoterra brand spiral type bulb that gives off a yellowish color. Its not too bright either which I like. It fits just barely in the ZooMed mini deep dome. Meaning it doesnt stick out and you can lay it flush on top of whatever like I did for my turtle topper.
