Great. Large capacity. Made well.

Heat from lamps breeds bacteria.

It works decently well. The dish fills better if you dont screw in the bottle top all the way. I wish the dish part was made of the nicer, more heavyweight material that Zoo Meds ReptiRocks are made of.

Its a great buy but I wish the little bowl was just a bit bigger. Its small for larger pets especially if youre using it for a hedgehog or hamster.

I purchased this alot becuase I work crazy hours as a nurse and wanted to insure that she always has access to drinking water. Just be sure that you clean it ofter because if not it will develop a clear slimy coating in the drinking reservoir as well as the bottle that holds the water. Its not a set it forget it type product but it helps for people who have lizards and are on the go.

The point iof an autowaterer is so you can leave them a couple days and they still have water available. This one allows lots of bacteria into it and only goes a day (max two) before it starts to smell and I have to wash it out with white vinegar, soap and water. I no longer use this for my pets.

Its a nice size and doesnt take up too much room in the terrarium. It also works well and like a reservoir should!

The main problem I had was that theres a guard that supposedly keeps bugs and debris from going back up into the reservoir that doesnt really do its job. The frequency at which I have to replace the water with clean isnt much different than just having a water dish, which would take up less space. My beardie does enjoy climbing into the reservoir though.

So the product itself is AWESOME. I bought one from Chewy before and it works great, perfect for reptiles if you have to go away for a weekend or if they have an enclosure that hyper evaporates the water. HOWEVER The one I ordered here from amazon came without the base. So its just a plastic jug. Useless.
