It is a nice white fine sand, the crab seems to like it. But it does stick to his water sponges and his claws if he gets wet but comes right back off once it’s dry.

I love this sand. I have also used multiple colors. My crabs are comfy and happy with the sand as well. It stands up, there is no odor and it is worth the money for sure.

Very good price as compared to pet stores.

Quality sand

the product was okay but was not packed well. There was a hole in the bag and sand was everywhere, still shaking sand out of items today.

Calcium sand will harden when wet and stick to the soft abdomen of your hermit crab. It WILL kill it. Very fast. Do not use!!! Get some playsand from your local hardware store. It’s safer for them. Do. Not. Buy.
