Easy to use, easy to drain and seams to hold moisture for my crabs. I have 3 tanks and I use half sand, and this fiber, totally will buy again.

Its a lot of fiber! It takes a while to break it down and dry it out and it can be messy if you havent used it before, but its a perfect product!

Crabs love it. I mix my with sand. It help with temp and Humidity. It great product. One block was enough to do 10 gal.

Coconut fiber instructions direct user to soak the dehydrated brick in clean tap water. Upon doing so the expanded fiber smells strongly like some type of hydrocarbon solvent - perhaps paint thinner. Ordered a replacement brick, only to have the same experience. Used filtered drinking water and perfectly clean new bucket. Neither brick can be returned as theyve both been expanded and packaging disposed.

Makes a very large amount. Our Hermit crab likes it.
