I didnt realize that these heaters were available at the time I had first got my beardie. I couldnt get the temperature high at night. Then I heard of this and I had to try it. Im so happy that I did. I use a dimmer light so I can control how high the heat will be. Its been a real game changer for me. I no longer have to worry about my baby being cold. What a relief. The heater works better than the light bulbs I use. Great product. I have a 150 and a 60 to keep the viv warm no matter what time of the year it is.

I love, love, love this bulb! No output for light ,but heats up automatically and does its job. The temperature gage is awesome. Sticks to outside of terrarium. This is wonderful, perfect for baby chicks. Not too hot, it doesn’t use too much power and produces great heat, and no light. I think that’s the best heating system for baby chicks.

I bought this to regulate the temperature in my hedgehog cage. This lamp is perfect for them since they are nocturnal, I can keep the lamp on all day without any light affecting their sleep cycle. I really enjoy that this came with a thermometer to help me track the temperature throughout the day so i know when to turn the lamp on or off.

This bulb is a perfect combo with the small 5 dome with ceramic socket as it is only safe up to 75 watts but they recommend not using a bulb over 70 watts.

Heat lamp works well.
