Installed on 2004 Honda Accord. Looked up installation video on YouTube and installed in 1.5 hours. Sound quality is good. Only issue is significant noise coming through when no audio is being played. Noise becomes more noticeable as you turn up volume. Still a good product.

I installed this on a 2006 Honda Ridgeline. It was a plug and play install. There will likely be a lot of buzzing, make sure that you get a ground loop noise isolator or better yet, a bluetooth car kit with an included ground loop noise isolator. Can get one for $25-30. For $50 out the door, you can have a 21st century vehicle.

Installed this on a 2006 Honda Accord LX with single disc cd radio. I did this myself very easily and I believe just about anyone who can use a screwdriver can do this. Took all of 10 minutes in my driveway and a year later its still going strong! I paired this with the SoundBot 360 Bluetooth adapter and voilá perfect music and hands free call setup! Changing out the whole head unit is a fairly intensive ordeal that is also fairly expensive and I didnt want to pour that kind of cash into such an old vehicle. I highly recommend you get this product if you are in a similar situation. Edit 10/2021 Unit still works perfectly :)

This adapter was a cheap, easy way to add aux capability to my 2006 Accord’s factory radio. I had previously done the same installations on my 1999 Accord and 2003 Element, so the process was very familiar and simple. I love Hondas and generally find most aftermarket radios to have clunky interfaces and corny aesthetics, so I appreciate that their factory head units from this era have expansion ports that can be used in this way. I opted for the 3.5mm-only option because I didn’t want to potentially introduce any power supply switching noise. Installation was a breeze and the sound is crystal clear! If you need to add aux capability on a budget, this is the way to go.

Works great with iPhone adapter. Don’t try playing music and charging at the same time the adapter heats up. The heat invariably destroys the adapter. Lucky for me I had an extra adapter. I’m guessing the low reviews are People with iPhones trying to charge and play music at the same time.

I installed this in a 2006 Accord with XM radio. I had to unplug the XM radio to attach this. On the display it shows CD track 1 always, which I expected. It took me about 30 minutes to get it installed, it was pretty easy. I was worried that there would be a hum or something, but the sound is good.

This aux adapter works as expected. There are tons of installation tutorials on YouTube to follow. For me, the installation takes me about 40 minutes. The length of cable is sufficient. I hide the main white adapter body inside the car structure and the audio line is able to reach the cellphone placed atop of the middle AC vent. On sound quality, I do not have ears that sensitive so I feel the sound is great. Plus, when I am driving 70 MPH on highway, the noise from the adapter (if present) is buried in the background air flow noise anyway. The only complaint I have is that the jacket of the male audio port is too thick. If the audio opening of your cellphone case is not big, then the audio wire might have a hard time going through. But it is a minor issue. As long as the functions are good, I think it is worthy five stars. By the way, in case someone is confused as I am: Honda accord has a separate aux port besides the wires to CD. So, you do not need to unplug CD to get the aux adapter connected. The 1-by-2 splitting adapter is not necessary, unless you want to connect two aux devices (like one MP3 and one USB drive).

Im using this cord in a 2004 Honda Accord. As many have said, at times I do hear whining, and other bad feedback sounds, but i found that when you turn up the volume, it can help mask those sounds. The volume does get quite loud, but quality may go down when you turn the volume al the way up. Im sure newer cars with a built in aux port are better quality, but being that i dont have that, i am very happy with this. The cord was a little short for me so I bought a decent quality headphon/aux Extender for about $7 and that actually made the whining and feedback problems pretty much go away, which I really didnt expect. I figured that adding another wire between the car and my phone would make things much worse, but it really didnt at all. Ive only used it a couple of times since I got the wire extender, but so far I like it and recommend that anyone using this product butly a headphone extender
