Installed this on a 2006 Honda Accord LX with single disc cd radio. I did this myself very easily and I believe just about anyone who can use a screwdriver can do this. Took all of 10 minutes in my driveway and a year later its still going strong! I paired this with the SoundBot 360 Bluetooth adapter and voilá perfect music and hands free call setup! Changing out the whole head unit is a fairly intensive ordeal that is also fairly expensive and I didnt want to pour that kind of cash into such an old vehicle. I highly recommend you get this product if you are in a similar situation. Edit 10/2021 Unit still works perfectly :)

Installed this unit and it worked great (with the help of a ground loop isolator) for about 2 months and then died. I contacted the mfc and they send me a replacment at no charge. The new unit is working great so far.

I purchased this product a little while ago. It’s been working just fine with me. I really like it and I highly recommend it. The installation is very easy, it would only take about 15 minutes you can do it yourself

Fit perfectly in the back of my radio. Wire is a bit weak if moved a good amount while playing you can hear the connection going in and out

Requires disassembly of some of the dashboard area. Sound quality is great. A version I had of this adapter stopped working after 2 years because the park that connects to the phone isnt super durable and something in it got loose so that it would stop playing if bent even the slightest bit.

Overall works great in my 2003 Honda Accord. It was easy to install but I did need to cut a small hole in the back of the storage cubby in order to keep it. The volume is a little low but it works perfectly as intended allowing me to listen to my phone. I listen to a lot of audiobooks when driving. I got the adapter that only has the auxiliary cable/3.5mm connection. On new iPhones you will need the apple adapter which are fairly cheap.

Works perfect for my Honda civic 2006, just wished it already included the Bluetooth

If youre like me and just want a way to hook up your phone to the car stereo then this is what youre looking for. The audio quality isnt the best but its decent and the install was only a minor headache. Ive been using it for a month now with no problems. 2004 Honda Accord Coupe LX. Buy plastic panel removals if you dont already have some.

Even though some of the negative reviews here could be legitimate, I suspect many of them are related to user error or misunderstanding rather than a problem with the product. I installed this relatively easily and it has a great sound with no problems so far. For starters, make sure to note the exact product you are getting. There are 3 versions, one with just a 3.5 mm jack (what I ordered), one also with a USB charging port, and one also with a lightning port. On the product (and on Amazon) it says that you can’t both charge and play music at the same time (this is probably why some people had sound issues). But if you install and use it properly it should work great. Two other points to note: 1) if you have a case on your phone or device, you probably want to get a slim adapter so you don’t have to remove the case. The 3.5 mm jack on this product is not slim and won’t fit past most cases. I ordered this adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074S15X7W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the sound is still great. 2) The install does take a bit of work as you have to remove some of the dashboard to get behind the radio (check out any number of YouTube videos on how). If you have a rear entertainment system that is already plugged into the white port behind your radio (we didn’t), you’ll also need a Y-splitter cable so you don’t lose use of that. Overall, this was a cheap way to adapt our older vehicle to stream music from my phone into the car.

For just $26, I added an AUX input for my 2006 Honda Civic. This plugs right into the unused input on the back of the stock CD player. To have a dealer do the same thing is hundreds of dollars. It requires pulling out the radio to get access, unless you have small hands, and can slide the plug in through the access panel. It works perfectly. I can how play music, and GPS directions from my phone while driving.
