I threw them in the microwave like it instructed, and all the water evaporated away, partly in the microwave then over the next fifteen minutes outside of the microwave. This is great for my car in the winter to help with internal condensation.

We live in the Pacific Northwest and moisture builds up in our vehicles, especially when they arent driven regularly. These desiccants are easy to use--just place them where they arent in the way and check occasionally to see if they weigh 650 grams or more, then dry in the oven. Ive dried several of mine repeatedly and theyre good to go again.

I use these for my gym clothes. When Im done working out, I toss them in a big plastic bag with one of these desiccant packs. Helps keep my work backpack from getting smelly. I got two in the pack, one failed after a few days (the seam broke and leaked silica pellets into my bag). The other one seems to be going strong. I have dried it out a few times in the microwave with no drama.

I use these to help control humidity with my 3D printer filaments. I didnt notice you can heat these things back up and just keep reusing them, thats just icing on the cake. Keeps stuff dry

These are HORRIBLE and DANGEROUS!!! I received mine yesterday, followed the instructions, and as it was in my microwave, next thing I know there was a terrible smell and my microwave was ON FIRE!!!!!! Now I have no microwave, and there are silica beads EVERYWHERE throughout my kitchen!! ARE YOU GOING TO REPLACE MY MICROWAVE???

Definitely helped with the extra moisture I had in the car during the wet rainy days! One thing to look after is the fine white power/crystals that comes out from the bag.. I dont know from where, but if you just set it on your dark dashboard in your car you will see them, maybe after the silicates absorbs enough moisture it will lump together better.. for the time being I laid my blk bags on a microfiber cloth. The important thing is it really works! * to dry out the absorbed moisture in the bag re-charge, use a kitchen scale, much better than guessing, also, do 2-3 min per side and give the bag a few minutes rest in between after each 5-6min cooking time for the steam to escape... this way the bag wont get burnt and you wont over dry the silicates.

    Performance is good

Works, and recharge / dry process works close to the instructions... But pretty slow to dry the air even when pushed directly into tight space trying to absorb moisture trapped under car carpets.

I have one in my car and the other in my small safe. Ive noticed my car windows dont fog up much anymore, even with the crazy sub zero temps of late. My safe doesnt smell musty anymore.
