We live in the Pacific Northwest and moisture builds up in our vehicles, especially when they arent driven regularly. These desiccants are easy to use--just place them where they arent in the way and check occasionally to see if they weigh 650 grams or more, then dry in the oven. Ive dried several of mine repeatedly and theyre good to go again.

I put one bag per pail of sidewalk salt to keep it from getting hard.Seems to do the job!

Put it in for the lowest amount of time then had it explode. Beads went everywhere, house smells like burnt plastic, now it melted on the plate.

I cannot evaluate this product for its efficiency. It and one other,were placed in an sealed container (tote) and is in storage in a climate controlled facility. The box contained machined engine parts. It will remain in storage for at least 6-9 months, so I hope that the contents will be pristine when I remove them from the totes. 2 bags per tote were used, and the totes were locked by the manufacturers locking devices on each end. I will review better when I have a look at the stored components. However, I must say, that the packets were well packaged by the manufacturer and were easy to use. Thanks.

I have items that need to be stored with less humidity, so these Reusable Silicia Gel packets come in handy. It took a while for them to get full and I popped them in the microwave to recharge them. Ill be purchasing more!

If you live in a humid environment, you need these substantial desiccant packs for lock boxes and safes. When they weigh 23 oz (650g) revitalize them in the oven per included directions. Stop possible mold, mildew rust or corrosion by using these desiccant packs.

Product broke open and spilled tiny plastic beads all over my car. Lasted a little over a month

After finding a bit of mold in our storage area a few months ago, I ordered a bunch of Wisedry dessicants in various sizes. Like the other Wisedry dessicants I ordered, these 500 gram dessicants work very well. The readily absorb moisture recharge fairly easily. The one thing I dislike about these is that unlike the other Wisedry dessicants I ordered, these do not have color changing beads to let you know when they need to be recharged. Instead, the instructions say that when the weight is over 650 grams, they need to recharged. Why do I need to weigh these? Why not use color changing beads like the other ones I have? These work great, but I dislike needing to weigh them to find out if theyre full.

Works very well inside my car.

I tested one in the closet vs an area that has humidity. Forgot about it for two days. Came back and the one at the humidity area definitely absorbed something as it was much heavier than the closet one. I wish it had a way to indicate it was full like the smaller packages. Im just guessing when it is full; resetting it in the microwave is also a guess as to when it is done. Thats the only reason i docked one star.
