I was worried about my guns rusting. These make a good option for a vault for rust prevention. You do have to dry them out occasionally.

We live in the Pacific Northwest and moisture builds up in our vehicles, especially when they arent driven regularly. These desiccants are easy to use--just place them where they arent in the way and check occasionally to see if they weigh 650 grams or more, then dry in the oven. Ive dried several of mine repeatedly and theyre good to go again.

To early to tell but I’m guessing it’s going to work! Heavy duty moisture absorbing bags reusable is a plus!

I love this product! I wish I couldve only bought one for $10, rather than two for $20, though; oh, well. My car gets moisture inside the windows when the weather changes, so I keep one of these under the seat (in a plastic dish), and voila! The moisture is gone! Ive already recommended this to two other people.

Once the packets were full of moisture, I microwaved them for 8 minutes on a microwave-safe plate as directed. I did not notice a large hole had burned through the black casing, so when I removed the plate from the microwave with the packets on it, the burning hot silica beads fell all over me and my stove and floor. They burned my arms and 1 leg where my skin was exposed. (Not blistering burns, but burns that turned red and still hurt an hour later). Thank GOODNESS no child was nearby. I now have a huge mess to cleanup once the silica cools down and my burns no longer hurt too much to go clean up in there.

My truck has had a leak so among other things I got these to help reduce the humidity in the cab. I have both of them in the cab sitting on the seat when Im not in it. It only took a couple of days to go from the ~500g to >650g so Ive recharged them both in the microwave now. There was a lot of moisture in the microwave after, and they were back down to just over 500g. Im not sure how long they are going to last as the bag doesnt seem very robust. I cant say that there was a noticeable difference in the truck, but maybe it will help as I get things dried out. My seat still feels like it has collected moisture from humidity that I am hopeful these will continue to help with.

Garbage, waste of money. Didnt absorb anything, and I know my car has a moisture problem because when I get in it in the morning there is condensation on the inside of the windows. Just buy some one time use ones or the ones that come in the container. :/

I followed the instructions to the last detail. Microwave 6 minutes, then turn over and Microwave for 6 minutes more. When I picked it up off the plate in the Microwave both bags burst! Waste of $20!

Good, but not great. Mine started leaking at a seam. I sewed it up. Now I handle them very carefully.

    Greater than one week

After just about all it’s five minutes. Fist time trying although received about 6 weeks ago because we were not ready to used them. So saved for when we were ready and would like a replacement or refund. It’s a shame we didn’t open and try before the return window. What a freaking mistake. Don’t make it, open and try them right away.
