> 3 dayThree flutes are great. Very smooth insertion with a plunge router and smooth sides to the cavity. A longer shaft would be nice for use in a plunge router making signs. Im using mine in a Bosch colt with plunge base. Would buy again.

Greater than one weekThis bit is great. Used it for 2 plus months daily in my CNC for hours at a time on clear pine. Worked like new everyday. Lasted VERY long. Just bought a Spe Tool it lasted literally 2 days on the same materials. Whiteside is the best.

> 3 dayWhiteside bits are excellent and this one was no different. Let me explain how I used it. I was making a rather complex cutting board for my music teacher brothers birthday. The plan called for a layer of ebony veneer to be glued between each of the keys to simulate a thin shadow. I ordered and returned several ebony veneer orders because they just were not uniformly black. So I departed from the plan and decided to vein the surface of the black walnut and hard maple keys and then apply ebony stain into the veins with an old ink pen. The 60 degree angle on the bit allowed me to lay the stain about 1/32nd of an inch deep giving me crisp black lines just below the surface. I then covered the lines with epoxy resin and sanded the excess epoxy off of the surface. It worked perfectly. BTW, this board was made for show not cutting foodstuffs.

> 3 dayI don’t think that this bit is any better than the Foos 60 degree bit. The Foos has a sharper point and is comparable in price.

Greater than one weekThe picture in the search is incorrect, the picture in the main body is correct. These are very nice bit, sharp and great at cutting hard woods like maple and walnut.

Greater than one weekIm giving this a five star review even though the product picture is completely wrong. I have used this product for a couple of years and new what I was buying. It is actually a three flute 1/4dia 60° router bit. Very sharp and lasts longer than any bit that I have ever used, and as a sign making business cutting red oak 8 hrs a day, we have used a lot of bits.
