> 3 dayYou can introduce this book as early as 9 months to your child. They may not get concept yet, but as you continue to read it they will. Because it clearly identifies each body part in a way they can learn the information. It also can start to teach them how to turn pages because it has thick pages which they can transfer that skill to regular books. It is also a great book I have used for students with special needs. Students with special needs are usually able to identify body parts or point to body parts after reviewing the book as many times as they need too. The book is very short so they can usually keep their focus for the shortbread book. Once again the book identifies body parts in a way they can understand even if they are non-verbal they often can respond by pointing to their body parts. And once again let them turn the pages when they are able to because it is considered a fine motor skill to turn pages. These pages are thick which helps to turn page.

30-10-2024My toddler loves flap books. One of his first words and body parts he could identify was his belly button. This is such a cute and fun book. I even gifted it to a friend for her son. Great for development and different from a regular book. Also being a board book is critical for tiny hands that like to rip things apart. Speaking of ripping apart - know that eventually all the flaps will get pulled off by your curious child but totally worth it!

> 3 dayThe is my granddaughter’s favorite book! She is only 15 mos. old. She has dozens of books but she will go thru them all and choose this one every time. I believe it’s because of the interactivity of the flaps. She loves flipping them.

Greater than one weekIve had this book for about 18 months now and my kids still love it! My daughter turned one and reads it several times a day. My son loved this book when we first got it at 18 months. They play Peekaboo with all the babies. I use the book to teach them to point to an eye, nose, mouth, hair, etc. The book is still in fairly good condition. They also love from 9 months to about 3 years old: 1. > 3 dayWe got this book when baby was 9 month old and is now 12 months. This book has been read at least one time everyday since we got it! Baby always chooses this book to be read first. It has held up to the abuse so much better than expected, especially for a flap book!

29-10-2024This was the first Karen Katz book that I purchased and my son absolutely loves it. I began reading it to him around 8 months and he got such a kick out of being able to lift the flaps. He is now 13 months and still loves this book. I have actually purchased other titles by the same author and he loves all of those as well. I definitely recommend this book, this is one of the first books that my son took a active interest in. Whenever I need to keep him busy for a few minutes, Ill put him in the crib with this book, it always keeps him occupied.

> 3 dayThis book is so far holding up well. My 11 month old daughter ‘the book destroyer’ has pulled the flaps off and broke the spines of a few books so far but this one has lasted the longest! She currently has it as her high chair book so it gets thrown on the floor a lot and still it’s fine! She loves lifting the flaps and we point to her mouth and eyes and so on as the book goes on!
