> 3 daymy baby knows where her belly button is now. sadly she lifts up her shirt and other family members shirts at the most random of times. its all innocent tho. i love it. my 1 yr old does not seem to understand that books are not for ripping. at present only 3 flaps are left. that is really good as she is a book wrecker. colors are vivid. there is one asian and one black child in the book. it is almost as big as a small note book. it has encouraged a love for reading in my toddler ps she knows all of the main body parts now. the book will reinforce the body part names so your child wont forget

> 3 dayWe bought this book for my daughter when she was around a year and a half old. Its a very simple book, only five or so words on each page. She is now almost 3 years old and to this day it is still her absolute favorite book! She thinks its so fun to play peek-a-boo with all the different body parts and to find where baby is hiding under the flaps. When we go places she always insists on bringing this book along for in the car. She now has the entire thing memorized so she sits in the backseat and reads it out loud to herself. It is the sweetest thing!

01-11-2024What an adorable little flap book! The pictures are vibrant and colorful, the text is big and the length brief enough to hold the attention of my antsy toddler, and my little one just loves lifting (and putting back...repeatedly) the flaps on each page. My little one grabs it from the shelf every day and I have even caught her reading it by herself! The best part? Its only a few dollars! It would make a good gift for a baby shower and is small enough to be used as a busy book for car and airline travel. I highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI didnt believe the excellent reviews of this book. I mean, how could it suck kids in as people claim? Its a book...with cardboard flaps. Big deal. But boy was I wrong. All three of my kids (2, 4, 6) love playing with this book. They dont carry it around all the time, but whenever they stumble upon it in their trove of books, it entertains them all for quite a while. My oldest loves to read the questions, the 4 year old loves making up what he thinks the questions should be and the 2 year old loves pointing out the things she knows, whether it is simply lifting the flap and answering that question or identifying everything on each page.

> 3 dayMy 15 month old LOVES this book. I only wish that the flaps weren’t so flimsy, as he would just rip them right off if I left the book lying around. I have to separate this book from his other books so that he doesn’t rip off all the flaps. He has already bent them a great deal. I would prefer that this children’s book be a little more durable, considering its audience! Otherwise, a great book for babies!

> 3 dayI was a little reluctant to order this lift the flap book, as I had gotten my daughter the Valentines and Easter lift the flap books (of the same brand/ilk/author/etc.), and I wasnt a huge fan of those. The problem with the Easter/Valentines day ones for me was that the words behind all the flaps almost always started with No. So, you were reading and encouraging your child to lift the flap and then saying No! after they lifted the flap. That could just be me, but it seemed counterintuitive. This book does not have that -- it has body parts for your child to learn and name. So, its much more encouraging/sensible to me. The only thing I dont love is that the flaps are huge, which oddly makes them less visible and less easy for little fingers to open.

Greater than one weekBaby loves to pull and chew on this flap book. I wish the material of the flaps was thicker for just this reason. I had to tape over them with packing tape so they wouldn’t get ruined.
