This was relatively easy to instill. I also added a heat sink that I found for it on amazon, seems to help. I used clonezilla to clone the original drive, then used AOMEI partition manager to resize the cloned drives partition to fit the new larger drive.

Im using it with an ACASIS SSD case and it consistently delivers very nice write and read speeds (>2300/>2700), up to the limit of the case. It gets a bit hot if intensively used but I suspect that one of the reasons is a too thin thermal pad (1 mm), which does not touch the chassis.

I like the 2TB capacity and like it. Easy to install and excellent performance at a good price. I replaced the old 512GB with this 2TB, which is the smart decision for this year so far.

The motherboard I have didnt have any brackets to install this drive.

I needed to increase the capacity of my SSD in HP Specter X360. Cloning was done without a problem with a Sabrent box, it has worked fine with no additional heat generation. It is used for multi-screen office work and other non-game add-on applications. I find it a bit faster than my old 512 GB SSD. Happy with my new disk space. I have been a fan of the WD brand for many years, it is very good.
