Drive works great!!! Upgrades from m.2 1st gen to this. Big difference. Competes pretty well with my other pc with 4tb gen samsung m.2 drive.

Not much to say, high capacity, very fast as a boot drive, and an acceptable price for solid state storage. I have bought 2 of these things so far (a 1tb model for my laptop and a 2tb for my desktop) and honestly these wd blues are my go to whenever I need a new ssd. Definitely recommend I have had 0 issues with these. Plug and play and work great.

Doesnt work on Mac, doesnt work on Linux, doesnt work on windows 10. After closer inspection, its a counterfeit (as someone with experience in IPR, I would know). If I hadnt already thrown away the packaging, Id ask for a return. Thankfully I didnt spend a lot of money on it. Its a crap shoot as to what bin in some warehouse this item comes out. I will say Amazon killed it on how fast the shipping was. Def kudos to Amazon.

I had bought this a while back for about $50. Now I have it as the boot NVME on a newly built cheaper MOBO/CPU combo. Works great as you see in the photo. Its even better now at $35.

It didnt come with the screw kit! And I dont know what screws are needed! Why is it not provided???

However I had to purchase a tiny tiny little screw separately to fix it to motherboard ($4):

So I have an older rig that gets modified as needed. In windows 11 I was nothign that my primary HDD drive was always running at 100%. Put in a pair of these in RAID format and transfered the OS over to them and busy drive issue resolved. If you are running a modern windows 11 PC and do not have SSDs you are doing it wrong.
