> 3 daySo easy to fit and at only £48.99 for such a fast m2 memory stick where can you go wrong. You can get bigger sticks obvously paying more but use a 2nd drive for storage and this drive for your window install. Windows boots in approx 7 seconds. Amazing.

> 3 dayPlug it into my 15-cx0056wm HP Pavilion Gaming laptop from end of 2018. Boots up really fast now and the old 2.5 SATA 1TB mechanical drive can be used together as additional storage. To make it work, I disconnected the SATA cable. Boot and install Windows 10 Media Creation USB. Install win10 with everything at default and done in 15 minutes, laptop is running faster than before. Reconnect the SATA cable to continue to use the old SATA hdisk as additional storage. what a big difference, all apps start faster on win10. Looking forward to see this SSD NVME to last at least 5 years before the next laptop upgrade.

> 3 dayIch habe die SSD gebraucht als Warehouse Deal für 37€ gekauft und soweit verhält sie sich wie eine voll funktionsfähige brandneue SSD. Man weiß ja bei Gebrauchtware über Amazon nie...

> 3 dayI rebuilt my Mac-based digital audio workstation recently, and wanted to keep all my files on an external drive -- but I also wanted a very fast SSD so Id have no latency when recording to it, and I hoped bouncing mixes would be similarly super fast. After doing a little research, I chose this WD Blue -- its not as blazingly fast as the Samsung EVO Plus series, but since I am specifically using it in a USB-C enclosure (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MNFH1PX), Im introducing a bottleneck, compared to how most people would use this as an internal drive. So I dont need the absolute fastest NvME in my case, and that helped me save a few bucks. I back up projects to storage on two platter drives -- this NvME is just a current-work drive, and 1TB here is plenty of space for that very specific purpose, even working on multiple Logic Pro X projects.

> 3 dayIn my workflow I import upwards of 20,000 PNG files into Premiere Pro video editor at one time rather often. this takes a considerable while each time no matter how fast the SSD is... I can compare this WD drive against is a 7200 hard drive and the Samsung 970 Evo. In short, this WD drive takes maybe 10% longer than my 970 Evo but at half the price. these two drives arent currently split that much in price but Id still purchase the WD over the 970 Evo based on current prices.
