Easy good

I tried to make it works on Ubuntu without any luck. It seems Ubuntu (I tried multiple releases) doesnt recognize the nvme even though I tried to change the grub config with something like nvme_load=YES etc. No luck. 2 stars because even if it worked on Windows sometimes it threw errors saying that the disk was not available at the boot. I sent it back because of Linux.

I was looking 500 GB SSD with the recent NVMe technology, most of them were priced well above 80 bucks. I got this one for 60 and it is from WD. Love it

Okay so I’m not someone who does huge transfer rates, I just wanted my windows to be a smidge snappier, this done the trick.

Transferred the operating system from an Asus TM420 to this drive using and Anker USB adapter and free Acronis True Image from WD. It transferred quickly. Installation of the drive was difficult because you need to dismantle the TM420 to put it in. What happened to the small panel with one screw to access the hard drive and ram so it was easy to upgrade?
