As soon as I saw the limitation of the PS5 storage I immediately started researching how to fix that. A couple youtube videos later and I came across this bad boy. Im sure there are bigger and better SSDs out there but Im a humble person and Im content with the 2TB SN850. I left space on the console to record gameplay but everything else goes to M.2. Found a quick video on YouTube and installed and working in under 10 minutes. We cant tell the difference between the hard drive or this external storage. Super fast and seems reliable.

Some people say that it’s faster than the PS5’s own storage but I can’t tell the difference, however, it does work.

It took less than 10 min to install and setup. But with the heat sink pre installed if you are using for PS5.
