I wasn’t able to get around to installing it until a few weeks after I purchased it and then 2 days after the return window closed it was failing. Not able to return it on Amazon or get a replacement straight through WD.

This arrived quickly and was a very easy install on the PS5. All games load very fast and without any problems. I am just now testing it out but everything seems great so far.

Just install and format, its ready to go. No extra steps and it has built in heat sync.

Its read according to PS5 is 6500, very easy to install, WD is a very reliable name and it should last. after format it showed 2tb available. I do not have anything to test for actual speed, great price, fast Amazon shipping, It makes sense to do upgrade as the PS5 installed software takes almost 490gb of SSD space. Recommend

I was really hoping a genuine PlayStation internal SSD would come from Sony, but I did my research and glad I settled on this WD Black SSD. The system stays cool and the games continue to show zero lag. Always get these with the heat sink included and heads up about the screw that’s meant to hold your SSD during installation. Sony made that little screw a aggravating to remove and replace. But other than that, the SSD installed perfectly fine and formatting it was simple.
