The package I received came damaged. It appears to not have caused any damage to the stick itself, but nobody wants to spend $150+ dollars to receive a fragile package such as a M.2 NVme SSD in this kind of condition.

This drive will do nicely for my purposes on a PS5, however, system reported the speed of the drive at well under the 7300 claim. Expect 6500, still well above the 5000 recommended by PS5 specification.

Bought this M.2 SSD for my PS5, with the heatsink included (which is very high quality for stock) the process of installing was easier than it sounds. The memory actually is a little more than 1tb so formatting for PS5 didnt leave me with less than I payed for. Overall better than I anticipated and Ive been eyeing this since the PS5 SSD beta went out

It’s thicker than I expected so I couldn’t use it in my laptop

Fist of all, I’m not a tech guy, and I don’t normally open my game systems for any reason. After watching a video, it was very easy to not only install, but to format and use. Took me less than 3 min to install. Though the price is more than an external, I wanted an internal drive. Games load and run flawlessly from the drive. I did use the cover over the drive, and the console does reside in a cabinet that is well ventilated(mesh front door, and a couple of usb fans in back of cabinet). I’ve played long enough to have to switch controllers twice due to battery low in one setting and never has my PS5 overheated. Bottom line; little more expensive than an external HD, but works very well, doesn’t take up a usb slot and load speeds are extremely fast. Again, I don’t have clocked speeds or thermal information, I’m just a gamer who started in 1979 with an Atari 2600. Would buy again with what I know now.

I buy this because Im happy the initial storage of the PS5 is (less than 500Gb) so with the 2TB, I was able to install most of my games including the PS4 versions but like other reviews mention, make sure you get the one with the heatsink, because sometimes the console can get quite hot after long sessions of use.

Well I thought 6000ms meant 6 gb a second but I guess not
