What can I say this is a very fast well made SSD drive. I wanted to add additional and faster storage to my gaming laptop and I had wanted a WD Black SSD to give me what I wanted. It came on sale during the holidays and I grabbed one up, wish I had gotten 2 now. I also got some upgraded RAM at the same time. I am not computer tech but I was able to open my MSI GP66 Leopard gaming laptop and update the RAM and add the WD Black m.2 SSD t the second M.2 slot. It was as simple as could be and I had no issues. Now my laptop has 3 times the storage and twice the RAM, all better speed/quality. I highly recommend this SSD.

I wasn’t able to get around to installing it until a few weeks after I purchased it and then 2 days after the return window closed it was failing. Not able to return it on Amazon or get a replacement straight through WD.

If youre building a gaming rig, I cannot recommend this enough. It doesnt get too hot, runs faster than anything Ive seen before, Has an immense amount storage which is perfect for what I do, and what its so immensely durable. Came in the mail hot as one of those uranium rods used in a nuclear power plant. Works just fine. I had some computer problems due to my gpu. A specific action would crash my desktop without fail, and Id have to shut it off via the power button every time. This drive never got corrupted, never got damaged, Never lost important data. Id get two of them if I had the money. Highly recommended!

Works very well & as advertised in PS5. Huge amount of storage is added to the tiny SSD space the unit is shipped with. Beware *insert at an angle* into PS5 then push down and secure in place with screw. Use correct size screwdriver for PS5 or you will strip the head.

Expensive tiny piece of electronics, but well worth it. Boot up time is now 7 seconds!
