Slotted in and worked perfectly, would recommend the Dashboard software which can be found on the Western Digital site

I gave a similar review to my mobo I purchased...everyone thinks the other guy is going to include the cables, screws, etc...

So far so good, plugged it into my laptop and it recognized it and I am up and running again

works as description. nothing to complain. But I made a mistake. My laptop doesnt support this one. So, be sure to check the compatibility before purchase if you want to buy it to upgrade the laptop SSD.

Bought this during holiday sales and feel I shouldve gotten two. I upgraded a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop that had a 256gb nvme boot drive to this one. Feels quicker, and that may be from going from a gen 3 to gen 4 drive despite the laptop having gen 3. Love the speed and the space!

I threw 2 of the 1TB models in a RAID 0 array and my Cystal disk speeds are up to 10.2k MB/S read and 9.8k MB/S write. Dont get this for gaming, I have to constantly look up guides because I no longer can read loading screen tips.

This drive is great. Its fast and big. Really good for multipurpose systems that need speed and reliability.

Had to order a screw separately, and got a third party heatsink for it as well.
