HI and Lo
> 3 dayLike most things Victorinox these are quality knives. My wife and I got tired of all of our steak knives rusting and getting dull, not to mention that many of them had wicked points on them which we really didnt need for anything. So we decided to upgrade our steak knives. Honestly I dont see us ever needing another set as these things are built to last a lifetime. The Fibrox handles are sturdy, provide great purchase, and are quite comfortable. The knives themselves are super sharp and will make short work of anything on your dinner table. The colors are bright and clear and might be a bit too much if you are really into having all your silverware match. At first I balked at the price tag a bit but now Im completely satisfied as these knives are very well made and will pay for themselves over the years because they will last so long. I try to make my reviews engaging and useful. Please click the helpful button if you thought this review was worthwhile. Thanks!

> 3 dayOh, Victorinox, let me sing your praises. I used to work in kitchens professionally as a pastry chef, and this was always my knife of choice. I always had a Victorinox chefs knife, paring knife, serrated paring knife and a serrated bread knife on hand. These knives take many, many years of daily use to even remotely start to dull, and at that cost you seriously cant beat it. Ive used other high-end brands (you know the ones Im referencing), and those suckers dull immediately and require a lot of constant sharpening and honing. When I moved in with my boyfriend, I quickly realized his steak knifes were.. subpar. ;-) I purchased these, and we now use them for every day use, chopping, as steak knives, etc. Highly, highly, highly recommend, and the colors are fun! P.S. If you ever find yourself in the Victorinox store in NY or in the handful of European countries where they have stores, check out their section of misfit knives. People often get their knives engraved, and if the store messes up they sell the items at a discount. I purchased a serrated bread knife in Switzerland for easily 25%+ off as theyd messed up the initials. Unless youre buying as a gift, this is the way to go! Or buy from Amazon, because... Amazon. :)

> 3 dayIt is an excellent Swiss knife. A year ago by chance I saw it in Publix and bought one. It has an extraordinary Ridge that runs not out, and became the favorite of the kitchen. At see this product on Amazon I have not hesitated to buy it again; now each one has its own knife in house, and we not fight the only one who we had.

> 3 dayIve used this type of Victorinox for about 20 years. It is my favorite breakfast knife, an excellent steak knife and a good veggie slicer. They clean up easily and look good for years.

> 3 dayA friend bought these and I used them at her house and loved them so I bought my own. They are a nice size and are great for cutting everything. They also go through the dishwasher which is a must for me. But, they are SUPER sharp and I cut my finger just taking the protective packaging off of them so be very careful!
