A bit louder than other ones and very expensive for what it is. There are alotvless expensive ones that do the same thing.

This is hands down the best neck fan. My only criticism is I wish I could activate the cooling metal conductor on the lowest setting. Thats why Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5. But other than that Im all set with my neck cooling device for the summer on very hot days. Im a gymnastics coach and going to use this while spotting my gymnasts on hot days only.

UPDATE in 2022: I have version 2 and still like this one. BUT...one year later and the cooling plate heats up where its not supposed to. When I want a blast of cool, I feel hot plastic on my neck. This is very unfortunate as it worked great prior. At this point, its only useful as a fan with the cooling plate off. ORGINAL REVIEW: I took this on a 10-day trip planning to return it after trying it outdoors and not feeling cooler. I’m so glad I kept it. Returned it for an exchange. Key Moments During My Vacation with This: At times my body temperature rose while seated indoors. I kept this around my neck all day so I was able to just turn it on briefly. It didn’t disturb anyone. When getting In and out of vehicles that needed time to cool, this served me well. On my trip in the airport and back, I had a face shield and mask on. Were it not for this, my mask would’ve fogged. The airline didn’t object. I put it through TSA check and all was well. Update: I’ve worn this at a Broadway show also. It made it through security check there and wasn’t a disturbance. Once my body cooled, I turned it off. Also another update: I noticed a crack (pictured) 3 days after the return window closed. I was able to return it via a call to Amazon. I wondered if as we are looking at cooler temps whether I wanted to purchase this again as I know it’s overpriced. But I did because I like it. Maybe one day someone will invent one that’s properly functional as a portable, wearable cooling system. I’ve yet to find a viable one. Conclusion: This is expensive but worthwhile IF using indoors, in shaded and/or not very hot and humid areas. If it’s for the latter, I don’t recommend it.

The fan wasn’t strong enough didn’t feel it was cooling off at all

This was a good purchase. I read the other reviews and watched the videos, so I had some idea of what to expect. The Air Conditioning chip works well--it cools quickly. In high-speed mode, it is moving a fair amount of air--so it cools well, but it is also noisy. I say this because it didnt bother me at all, but my daughter is more sensitive than I am, and she found it to be loud. For me, when I am outside on the deck or in the garden, this really does help. I do not expect to run the Air Conditioning chip for more than 10-15 minutes at a time--it has to shut off to shed internal heat. And while that is happening, the AC panel is still cold for a while, and the blower still helps. So, you let it sit for 25-30 minutes and use it again. All-in-all, I like it.

It does get cold and you can feel it as soon as it starts but what I didnt relize is it will work good outside of your standing still or doing the garden but I got grass and walk all around and it seems to not keep me as cool as I thought it would. When Im walking around or using weedeater Im not feeling the coldness. Iknow its working. But Im still dripping

I got it because I work outside in the south. I still sweat profusely but it makes me not wanna kill myself. Very durable too. Doesnt actually blow out cool air. The metal plate gets cold on your neck though. About to get one for my mom!!

The best money Ive ever spent. I wish i wouldve realized this years ago. It worked great. Nice and light. Charge lasts enough for my day. Ready to charge. Very light. Did not irritate my neck. It felt so good!¡!!

We love these so much that we bought 3! My only complaint is the packaging. Waaaaaay over the top. Too fancy. The product should be the star. Not the box that it comes in. I would rather they used a regular box and shave $30 off of the price…

After looking at a ton of neck fans and reading the reviews, I came across this bad boy. More expensive than the counter products by a fair margin but with the active heat sync/cooling on the back of the neck it was worth every single penny! I used it for five days walking around all of the Disney parks and it worked like a champ to keep me cooler and way less annoyed about being all sweaty. Other reviews are correct in that the battery will not last very long if using on full blast with cooling constantly. My solution to that was to bring a power brick with me and every time I was in a ride line that FINALLY made it from outside to inside, I just plugged that sucker in and let it recharge for the next run/walk to the next looooonnnng ride line. Seriously saved my kids and companions from dealing with me being a huge grouch! Worth the price! Bring a battery pack to recharge when not out in the heat.
