Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX II Color Graphing Calculator with Student Software (PC/Mac) White 3.54 x 7.48

I’m a 30+ y.o. returning back to school, re-taking physics and math I used to know 15+ years ago. It seems ridiculous to spend so much money on a calculator, especially to a life-weary adult with adult expenses, but this calculator has proven its worth to me by saving about 90% of study time on calculations and verifying my answers. I can see myself needing and using it for many years on, since I’m definitely not some kid whose parents had to buy this expensive toy only to attempt to resell it on eBay when the child is done with calculus (yikes!!!). I christened mine Genie as in Aladdin for all the magic it can do for me, and my only wish is that I bought it earlier!

This is the calculator my son needed to have, did not ship when it was supposed to, but we did eventually get it. Graphing calculators are not for parents!

My daughter needed this for 8th grade math. Wanted the same one they use in school and it was perfect. She will be able to use this for the rest of her years at high school.

Overall a decent product but with all the technology in the world it seems they could develop an easier interface to use.

I have contacted TI customer service to see if I can get a replacement for the calculator, but the older version of the TI calculators is better worth the purchase than this one. I have been trying to troubleshoot the calculator for the past two weeks and I am still meeting the same function problem. It is NOT worth the purchase or hassle, the order version can performs much better than this one.

Had to buy this big fancy calculator for teen daughter whose clearly smarter than I. I never really needed anything like this in high school but I also had to repeat 9th grade math so.....
