I purchased this phone May 23, 2022 and exactly 1 yr and 5 days later the phone stopped charging, when I would try to connect a charger it reads error: please plug out charger Due to the phone being past manufactured warranty I was told that there is nothing that can be done. The phone was not damaged and was barely ever used. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I got this for my daughter since she likes to forget her phone everywhere. So far nobody has bothered to steal it. It always gets returned(unlike the expensive iPhones). As for the phone itself, it has to be turned off and turned back on about once per week, the pictures arent good at all but it looks like an expensive phone. I couldnt imagine using this myself but its good enough for a clumsy kid that loses and breaks phones all the time.

Out of the box this seemed like a good backup phone to have on hand. That was until you set it up and TCL FORCES data collection and it cannot be turned off. On top of that there is applications such as smart manager which cannot be turned off. You cannot remove the permissions for these applications either or disable them. There are multiple sketchy non-default applications by TCL on this device that can not be disabled or permissions removed on them in any way.

Despite the fact that I already have an iPhone, I require a second phone for work. Because of the low price, I chose to get the TCL A30. The batterys performance is rather good. I used it for the entire day, and when I got home it still had about 30% of its power left. I believe that a single charge will be sufficient for most peoples everyday needs. You dont have to carry about a bulky power bank or phone charger.

Makes calls, sends texts, takes pictures... Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

I didnt know what to think when I purchased this phone. It was a quick decision when my old Samsung just suddenly went out on me. But here I am about a week after the purchase and this phone has really impressed me. I was able to transfer all my old apps, contacts and even pictures with ease. I really have zero complaints about this phone. My plan was to have this phone until I could go out and find a more expensive phone. But now, I think Ill just keep this one as my main phone. For the price, you really cant beat it.

This is a really good cell phone for senior citizens. It runs smoothly making calls, texting, surfing the internet, watching Youtube, view social media, even with multiple apps open. Good battery life and Charges pretty quick. The phone is also very nicely designed and lightweight; you can feel the quality and the sturdy feeling in your hand. I am currently on the Verizon network, and the signal/coverage is really good. I have been using this phone for a week, and I didn’t experience any connection issues. The audio is also loud and clear; it’s even louder than my Samsung S8. The picture and video call so far seem good. Its a great budget phone. Would recommend!

I bought this phone as a cheap replacement for when my original phone died after years of use. This phone cost $100, which at all the time I thought was expensive but I needed a daily phone. Sadly even for $100 it has a bad screen, is very glitchy, very unresponsive and has a terrible build quality. After 9 months it suddenly died, would not take a charge. While within the 12 month warranty TCL refused to refund and would only repair it if I paid the $20 shipping fee. A faulty phone, bought directly through the official TCL storefront on Amazon and they wanted me to pay a fifth of price to repair their bad product. I know the price seems tempting to save some money but pay a few more dollars for a different phone as you will regret buying this phone. Bad company and product. Never buying a TCL product ever again.
