Have had these a month and wear them every day for work for teams meetings. The sound is amazing, noise cancelling spot on, but the product manager blew it on one thing. They didnt put a mute/unmute function on these. Sonys answer is to unmute in the application. So if you are on a teams meeting and are cooking lunch of course you will have yourself muted. The noise cancelling is good, but banging pots and pans will still come through somewhat. Or what if I want to say something to my wife while on the call? The range on the blue tooth is amazing which just means you have further to run back to your laptop to unmute. This is a complete pain in the you know what. So, if you are buying these for a plane only, go for it. I would submit that you dont need $400 headphones for a plane, they all do adequate at cancelling white noise. You need this level of functionality for work. You also need a mute button for work. Absolute huge miss Sony and I should not have assumed it was there.

I love the feature that allows me to put my hand on one headphone ear and hear my surroundings.

I would assume that a lot of people would like these headphones but I do like some bass and the mx4s do much better in that aspect. In terms of professional use, these come closer to the Airpods Max able to deliver excellent noise cancelling with passable transparency mode. Since I do have the Airpods max however, I didnt need another pair of headphones for professional use.

I bought these initially for air travel as I no longer appreciate the loud “white” noise of the cabin. I finally was able to sleep going to Europe. I bought these “Used, Like New” for about 1/2 price and it was a bargain! They included everything, even the packaging that looked new. Oh! I also wore these in the hotel when I slept and they were comfy. Basically, I bought these for one purpose, but ended up using them more often than what I intended.

The noise cancellation is insane to me. I brought them on a road trip where noise and screaming is prominent and by my surprise canceled it like crazy. And the sound is even better. Just in all a great pair of headphones. 10/10 would recommend buying them.

I love everything about these headphones. From the sleek look, to how lightweight they are, to the case the durable case included with the purchase. The sound quality is amazing, it tunes out my tv even when I’m right next to it. There’s the noise canceling, ambient noise, and no cancellation feature and they all work great and as intended. One feature I didn’t know about when I bought these is when you take them off, the music automatically pauses for you. It starts playing once it detects the headset back on your ears. When you start talking to someone, the music will pause as well until you’ve finished talking. I’ve used them at a music festival, on a plane, and at home. The only con I could see is if someone is talking right next to you (on the phone or something) you can still hear them, but never bothered me much. 10/10.

I was confused between the purchase decision of Bose and Sony headphones as I wanted to upgrade from Bose QC 35 2. It came with hefty price tag of near 400. But I would say thus is worth it. I am now more confident to take my office calls on bluetooth device. I love listening to music on it. The noise cancellation is top notch. I love its speak to chat feature. I do not have to remove it to talk to others. Its almost on my head for 8 hours a day and i forget that its there. Very comfortable. I will recommend this headphone to people who can afford its price tag.

I love the sound quality, its really easy to set them up and the Sony Headphones app offers great audio customization. I got them today so I might update the review if anything changes over the time.
