> 3 dayIt’s really too bad Sony can produce headphones that work so well, but they cannot produce a decent physical headset. The ear cups on these are noisy! They squeak and scrunch with the tiniest motion of the head, destroying the purpose of noise cancellation. Think they’re going back.

Greater than one weekThis is truly amazing. First, they fit perfectly over my ears and are so comfortable Second, The sound quality is awesome. Third, the features are excellent. I can set it so if I need to hear people talking I can, or set it to hear only whatever I am listening to. I really like all the features of these headphones. Honestly, this is the best headphones I have ever purchased. Well worth the cost. They fold and have an amazing case to carry them in as well.

Greater than one weekI already own the Bose QC35 so this was a whim purchase. I was attracted to the favorable YouTube reviews. I do not think the Noise Cancelling on the XM5 is any better than the Bose QC35’S but definitely not worse.

Greater than one weekIve really enjoyed these headphones and find it difficult to take them off. I was stuck on either getting the XM4s or these and ended up with these as they were basically the same price with the Prime Deal. The appearance of the XM5s ultimately made me decide to get these rather than the XM4s, but there is one important drawback I got from these: I cant wear these around my neck comfortably. They fold outward for no listed reason, so Id have the ear cups rest on my collarbone. The way around this in which I found it the most comfortable would be wearing them above my ear, which is kind of obnoxious in my eyes, but it was the most comfortable position if I didnt want them on my ears. They are super comfortable and I find myself about to fall asleep with them on. Doing activities such as school work with the active noise cancelling helped me get so much work done with little to no distractions. Using them at the gym hasnt really been a hassle, as Id wear a hoodie to protect them from sweat. The music quality is superb and I havent noticed any distortion from higher levels of music. The things that would really drift me away, especially at this hefty price point would be: The lack of any water resistance on the headphones The ear cups not being able to rotate inwards or fold into themselves Touch pad gestures should be able to be customized But other than the features listed above, they may cater towards you, but the XM4s are generally similar if not better than the XM5s.

Greater than one weekI was on the fence about these. Fairly expensive and some reviewers had some pretty negative things to say about them, specifically the comfort and noise canceling. I recommend you go to a trusted audio review site now and read those instead of these Amazon reviews. Your experience is much more likely to mirror those than the negative reviews. Amazing noise cancellation, great sound quality, and comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. These have become my daily use headphones and I havent given it a second thought. Worth every penny I spent. Ill leave it at that.

Greater than one weekAfter use this headset for a while, I found it is just a perfect headset except one thing. It create noise by itself. If you wear it , slightly shake your head, you will hear the leather itself tweak, make uncomfortable noise. like some one squeeze plastic bag near your head. If you like squeeze plastic bag sound, this headset is your perfect choice!

Greater than one weekI was never a fan of wireless headphones. I always forget to charge them, but thats not an issue with these. They have a VERY long battery life. Ive been using mine for 5-6 months so far, and the battery life does not disappoint. I charge mine about once a week, and I use them quite often. Almost every day for several hours! Theyre definitely friendly for those of you who forget to charge your devices frequently enough. Sound wise, theyre comparable to most Sony products. A little bass heavy, but not overtly so. The mids are eh, but the highs are good. If youre an audiophile, maybe these arent for you. But for the average listener, youll love these. They sound crisp and clear, and the volume is perfect. Noise canceling wise, these are great for traveling and blocking out noise from noisy neighbors. Car rides are nearly completely silent. If you listen to music, you wont be able to hear any background noise. The first time I put these on and turned them on, I almost cried. Silence was something Id really never got to experience, and these really delivered that. If youre autistic, these are a god-send. These are not great for blocking out dental equipment noises. Thats the reason I purchased these, and admittedly that was my own ignorance of how noise canceling worked, and the frequencies that would not be able to be canceled. But I loved these headphones so much I kept them. I think that says something about how incredible these are. Another feature I think thats worth mentioning is the ability to allow ambient noises in while listening to music. I can listen to music while having conversations with others, and it just harmonizes both sounds perfectly. I also love that theres a setting that you can allow voices in while keeping background ambience out. Over all, these are a solid set of headphones. Id recommend to anyone looking for a good noise canceling headphone, or just a solid pair of headphones period.

> 3 dayI really wanted to like this product especially because it’s so cute. I have been on a hunt, trying a ton of new headphones like these. However, it slips a lot if you wear it for more than like 30 minutes it’ll start to hurt the top of your head even if you extend the wrap. I think the beats headphones have much better noise canceling. Quality wise, it’s nothing extraordinary, i think it’s pretty average especially for the price. I have experienced the same with headphones that were $20-$30. I would save up, do some more research, and not get these.

> 3 dayI’ve had it for a few months now and it’s one of my most prized possessions. I bought a pair of Bose headphones before this one. I prefer the noise cancellation that Bose has, but I wanted them specifically for listening to music and Sony is where it’s at in that aspect. I love music and it’s a big part of my life. These headphones are perfect!

Greater than one weekThe sound is amazing, especially when paired with a Sony Hi-Rez DMP. The Bluetooth connection frequently dropped and the latest firmware didnt do anything to solve the problem. Sony had no solutions. I purchased the xm4 as I want a Sony Hi-Hez headphone and have experienced one drop whereas by now with the xm5 I would have had 50. The 2.5.1 firmware states that it addresses Bluetooth connection issues ...
