> 3 dayOut of the box this had batteries installed on the remote sensors which was nice. I plugged in the hub via ethernet into the home router. I have one unit in a fridge and there are no signal issues reaching the sensor as well as the freezer in the garage. Range appears good....signal strength in fridge which is upstairs is still -77dBm). The signal strength for the other sensor directly upstairs from router is -52 dBm). No issues or concerns having these dispursed either in something or further away from the house router. Functionality is also easy to set up alerts or see charts with the data. knocked one star off for lack of ability to enable a push for an updated temp from the sensor. The booklet has the requirements for for a refresh based on one of 6 conditions...otherwise its 1 time per hour. I would prefer a SW update that enables a manual refresh.

> 3 dayI bought these for my 2 freezers. We lost some meat in our freezer because I didn’t know it wasn’t cold enough and the meat thawed out. It brings some peace of mind knowing I’ll get a notification when the temperature gets above the threshold I set. It is also interesting because it shows how the temperature naturally fluctuates and I can even see when it defrosts.

> 3 dayI used the thermometers in my fridge, freezer, chest freezer, top floor, and basement. I like being able to get alerts and keep track of temperatures and humidity to make sure everything is in working order. After almost a year the hub would like to disconnect fairly often, but I sent a message to yolink and they were able to send out a new one for me. They seem to be very easy to deal with and their products overall have been nice to have around.

> 3 dayPretty much a a snap to set up (unusually so). Also connected to Alexia no problem. Only complaint... I really like freezing tha batteries & electronics... I do wish they would put a probe on these so we could leave the transmitter/eletronics out of the freezer.

> 3 dayThe unit works well, my only issue with the device(software) is that while the sensors report every 5 minutes when you export the data it lists only on the hour. i.e. 08:00, 09:00, etc. The exported data is reported in GMT and Celsius only.

> 3 dayIf this is the kind of device you are looking for to be able to remotely view temps and humidity this is the best one I have used so far. Even better than so called name brands. I dont get all kinds of false alarms. The interface is easy to use but not stripped down to bare minimums. Most importantly, it just works, worked easily practically out of the box. No drama, no fees. Its great.

> 3 dayWe have a lot of meat in our freezer and this is a great tool to monitor and be alerted if the temp gets too high.Sometimes those kids forget to close it all the way or if the power goes out in the garage and we dont know it. Plus if you are out of town, someone could come by and save all your frozen stuff for you. Set up was easy as long as you plug it straight into the router. Did not try the wifi method.

> 3 daySmart Wireless Temperature / Humidity Sensor Wide Range: $59.99 at the time of review We have had a freezer in our garage for a number of years. Unfortunately there have been a couple of different times over those years where the door was left cracked open or the circuit breaker blew and lost some or even all of our frozen food. So I finally decided to get a wireless sensor to alert me to high temperatures. *What I liked*: This is a complete kit using a proprietary wireless connection between the hub and sensors. It makes setup really easy. The sensors track temperature and humidity. The latter isn’t exactly important to me, but there are a lot of cases where you’d like to track how humid an area is so I like it’s an option. The hub syncs up via your home’s WiFi to an app on any smartphone. For me this is the bread and butter of this system. It allows me to set alerts on my phone for when the sensor is outside of the temperature range that I chose. You can also choose to be emailed alerts. We’ve already had the door left open by a guest and thanks to the alert I was able to close it before any spoilage occurred. So they’ve paid for themselves. The sensors use just one AAA battery. That makes powering them super easy as well. *What I didnt like*: Nothing, really. *The Bottom Line:* This is a fantastic system for tracking temperature. The sensors have a crazy long range (even considering that they’re inside of a fridge that almost certainly reduces signal). The temperature readings are accurate. And best of all, they connect to an app that lets me build custom alerts. Five stars out five. I love these and would definitely buy them again.
