This could not have been any easier to set up. Took ten minutes from opening box to sensor in freezer sending readings. Signal from freezer sensor in garage to hub in living room is full strength. Highly recommend

The YoLink app is simple, easy to use, and very straight forward. Pairing new devices is easy, and the information is easy to read. The hub was also easy to connect with my Google Assistant. In general I would recommend the YoLink system to anyone setting up a smart home. HOWEVER... My primary focus when buying this base set which included the YoLink Hub, and 2 Temperature / Humidity Sensors was to have my Google Assistant (and IFTTT) read information from these sensors and preform automated actions. Much to my disappointment, these sensors are among the few YoLink devices that are NOT directly compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. There is an alarm feature that CAN be linked with IFTTT, but it is extremely limited. Once again, The YoLink system itself is genuinely nice and easy to use / connect with other services. My only complaint is that SOME devices are not compatible with all features. While the sensors I have don’t do exactly what I needed, I am keeping them and the YoLink hub as I will use it for other sensors I plan to purchase in the future.

Excellent product. Excellent range. I have both motion sensors and temperature sensors and they work great! When I upgraded my Internet service provider, I had to make sure all of my devices were working and had trouble getting this to connect to the new service. After spending about two hours trying to reestablish communication between the hub and my Internet, I finally called customer service. But helpful person got to the bottom of the problem almost immediately. (I had the device plugged into the modem instead of the router!!!!) So… The only problem I’ve had with the products have been my own fault. I monitor motion in my garage and car that is parked on the street and temperature at my cabin while I am at home in a different city. Great peace of mind and fantastic products!

Our power goes off quite often, this system works really well to notify me of a power outage, or a rise in the temp if someone left the freezer door ajar. Twice now since I got this system, our power has gone out and my app notified me almost immediately! I’ve had this system for about three months now, besides the two therms the pkg comes with, I added one more so each freezer & the fridge are covered. So far, I’m impressed!

After 6 weeks of use in our RV basement we are very pleased with the performance. We want to monitor the temp and humidity down there due to being in freezing temps. Love the phone app with the ability to set alarms.

My freezer is connected to a sketch outlet that pops a lot. (I am working on fixing the situation) after 2 freezer thaws with multiple losses I bought this. I get quick response to parameter alerts and I can send someone to fix it if I’m not home.

I’ll start out with saying I’m totally blind. I got the hardware out of the boxes and felt them over good before I started trying to get everything connected and reading documentation. The first thing I had trouble with is trying to determine where the batteries went in the sensors. When you are totally blind! This wasn’t easy. Wants I got that determined! Then I started to mess with the App. The App can use improvements to label buttons, change screens so a person with a screen reader can update settings like Alerts for temperature and humidity. Using Android and Talkback, this isn’t doable. But anyway! I got the hub QR code scanned with no issues! Next I had to spend some time to determine how to bring the hub online using Wi-Fi. That wasn’t straight forward. I would have expected to be giving that option after I scanned in the QR code but that wasn’t the case! You have to go to another screen to do that. It should ask you how do you want to connect the hub after you bound it. Next I broght on the temperature Humidity sensors! Again it wasn’t given in the documentation online that I found that you need to remove the tape that is covering the QR code and also part of the battery cover. Wants I removed that tape, I was able to scan the QR code for the sensors. Maybe for a person who can see, this is clear! But not for a totally blind person doing it on there own. I put one sensor in the freezer after I replaced the batteries with LI batterys to ensure they’ll be able to take the cold temps. The sensor is working well. Just wish I could set the Alerts to what I want on my own. The second sensor is sitting beside my weather station and looks to be very close to it. I also wish I could set the update time to a lower number from 1 hour to maybe 5 minutes to catch miner temperature and Humidity changes. The second sensor will probably go in the Air Duct. That away I can get some idea of what the AC and or heat temps are coming out of the unit. I did find one sensor was in C and I had to determine how to change it to F for temperature. You just press the button on the back of the sensor to do that. Spent a good 15 minutes looking around the App and couldn’t find it. So figured what the hay lets see what happens when I press the button on the back of the sensor. The hub and sensors work well but the App needs improvements on Android to work with Talkback. A lot of unlabeled buttons and screens that a totally blind person can’t update things on. The low/high for temperature/humidity is only just one screen that needs to be improved. There are other screens as well. Like trying to setup automation task. Reading sensor values on the main screen. All of them say 0% before each sensor and even the hub. The battery status cannot be read for any of the sensors either. Like I said a lot of unlabeled buttons in the App that a totally blind person just has to try to see what they do and hope nothing bad happens. So for me, being the App. Is so bad! Is wy I’m giving this a low star rating being a totally blind person can’t do a lot with it at all. If the App get improved so a totally blind person can use everything or at least most things! Then I would have no issue with changing my star rating.

Temp/Humidity sensor easy to set up. Had no real trouble getting system up and running. Took another thermometer and placed it next to the YoLink T&H sensor in my refrigerator and the YoLink is off by about 2 degrees. With all that said the 2 degrees calls an alarm because the range of temps for the fridge is 34 to 38 degrees F I even dropped the operating temperature and increased the alarm high a degree or 2 and I still get a lot of notifications. Next I tried to calibrate the sensor in the app, changed the calibration by 2 degrees and saw not change in the reading. I really wanted the sensors so I can monitor the temperatures the warning is a bonus...if I can get it to calibrate.

We buy meat in bulk from a friend that has a connection to the farm. We store the bulk meat in a freezer in the garage. My problem was my children were opening the freezer to get something, a popsicle or something and occasionally the freezer door was loosely shut. This allowed the heat from the garage to come in and defrost the meat. On one occasion the meats blood was leaking out of some of the meat packages, ice cream was destroyed etc. So I purchased to put inside the freezer. You have to buy that hub, but is the easiest thing to install. I downloaded the app, created a login, took a picture of the bar code on hub by the app, hooked the hub up to the router, its done. Set up the thermometer by taking a picture of bar code in the app, its done.

I bought this remote thermostat for my freezer. I didnt to loose a freezer full of meat. The thermostat is nice and small and just hangs from one of the shelves. Signal is great and with the app, I know the moment the temp drops below the alarm level that I choose. I also put one in the office where we keep guitars. This one has an alarm for humidity.
