> 3 dayGo check the reviews, and look at random read performance, which is what matters for general use and loading times. Better than everything besides the 980 Pro, and better than the 970 Evo Plus as well (which also excels over most PCIe 4.0 drives in this manner). Unless you really transfer a lot of huge files on a regular basis, this is the drive to get - the price to performance is insane. Cant wait to see their 4.0 drive.

> 3 dayThis drive is uber responsive and has not given me any issues at all. Excellent first foray into consumer nvme space by SK Hynix and excited for future products

Greater than one weekI caught this while it was on sale. I had been looking at a 1TB Samsung SSD upgrade, but then I saw this for way cheaper. The upgrade was pretty painless. I didnt plan to clone my previous drive - who needs that pita. Just backed up what data I wanted to save and did a clean install of Win10 on this drive. Feels better having a clean Windows every couple years anyways. I included a snapshot of my DiskMark numbers. Seems pretty snappy on my 2 & half year old Dell G7 7588.

Greater than one weekActually it is even more than good value. There probably is no more reasonable drive to buy for a laptop now.

> 3 dayThe writing speeds on this thing are ridiculous. Glad I picked this one.

> 3 dayBought this for additional storage to be used solely for PC gaming on my Lenovo computer. Its last gen (gen 3) but when I bought it gen 4 stuff was pretty hard to come by and far more expensive. For the money it has been totally worth it. I have played Skyrim...with mods...and recently Halo Infinite and load times are quick. I decided against a heatsink after watching a few videos where they tested and felt that it wasnt really necessary, I believe because last gen tech doesnt run as hot. Plus, my Lenovo has lots of mesh, 2 intakes fans, and 2 exhaust fans and is located in an open air space. Ive never had any freezes due to overheating so it appears to be fine.

Greater than one weekThe SK hynix Gold 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD was utilized in my HP Vectus laptop computer. When I purchased my computer, 512 GB SSD was the largest from HP that I could purchase. Since I had experience with SK hynix SSDs in the past this was a logical choice. I utilized the SK hynix System Migration Utility that can be downloaded, the rest is history. I cloned my old SSD to the new, was up and running in about twenty minutes. Perfect.
