Greater than one weekIf you want a fast power efficient drive this is it. I installed this in my laptop and it gave me much improved battery life over other drives and not only that is just as fast in most ways as many Gen 4 drives I have tested it against you can’t really tell the difference except when booting up and shutting down is slightly slower still this is one of the fastest drives out there. Runs a little hotter under load but does not thermal throttle very easily. The 2 TB version seems to be just as fast and power efficient as the 1 TB I also have owned. If this drive is on sale especially 150$ for the 2 TB it’s definitely worth getting over other drives.

> 3 dayIt is easy to actually install, I have an ibuypower and I legit just clicked it in, didnt even have to take out the gpu that some said I would and that itself makes it worth it. The actual storage capacity is prolly like 800gb, but hey, thats something. I was able to play a lot more games by having that.

Greater than one weekDONT SEND IT BACK. Maybe this will help someone if you have all the right tools. If you do, all can be accomplished in an hour. If not, a day as you need hardware/screws.

02-11-2024Its an SSD. Ive been using them almost exclusively for 6-7 years now so Im used to their speed. Ive only had this one about 6 weeks so not much to say except so far so good. I pulled a smaller Samsung out of my XPS, put this in and reloaded the OS from scratch so I cant comment on the cloning software. Other than the usual Windows update nonsense. its been smooth sailing.
