Greater than one weekRunning this as an external SSD in thunderbolt enclosure. ~1Gb/s consistent transfer speed over thunderbolt 3 port on Windows 10/11. Satisfactory for my purposes. Installs and runs AAA PC games from it with no issues as well.

> 3 dayThe drive works amazingly, but it is nearly impossible to get the driver and software because their website is almost impossible to access. And when you finally manage to access the website, you have to trick it to access the downloads, or it will just crash giving a 404 error. Once you manage to get to the downloads part of the website and start downloading the software, it downloads at 30KBPS, and stops downloading after a couple of minutes. I tried at different networks, different computers. There are many people at Reddit who has the same issue with their buggy and slow website. So... The drive is great, but support is bad, no drivers, no software... What a bummer.

Greater than one weekI hadnt heard of this brand until I went shopping. It rivals WD Black and Samsung 970 EVO Plus in speed and storage capacity. The SK hynix drive retains far less heat than the most commonly known brands. A bonus is that it costs 20-30 dollars less than the afore mentioned brands.

> 3 dayI used to use samsung drives, but after the company really did me wrong on 3 seperate occasions I decided never again will I use a samsung product. I have been using these ssds in both ssd and nvme m.2 models. these drives perform very well and seem to last a long time too. I have had 0 issues with these drives. I dont notice a difference between these and samsung drives. Great quality.

31-10-2024Can’t say enough good things about HK hynix customer support. Very quick to reply to emails. I attempted to upgrade my 2014 Mac Mini (Late Model 2014) with this NVMe M.2 SSK. Even though the specifications was exactly what is called for my Mac Mini I could not get it to work. Even after formatting for APFS running Catalina OS the Mac would crash and not allow me to to anything including accessing Recovery or Target Disk modes on startup. However HK hynix customer support was OUTSTANDING and agreed to allow me to return the product for a full refund. I plan on doing business with HK again in the future. Thank You HK hynix customer service!
