> 24 hourI purchased these leggings, mostly because I have seen other people use them on their horses. They looked like they stood up far better than all the other leggings that I had bought. My horse was being eaten alive by flies while trying to recover from hoof troubles (so I would rather he not stomp) and then the vet said he had scratches on his legs as well. These leggings are a relatively rigid cone with velcro that straps around the horses leg. The leggings sink down just enough to cover the top of the hoof, which the other ones I have, didnt. It basically acts as a long thin bell over their leg. The flies dont crawl down the bell and the leggings dont rest or are not strapped against the horses legs. My horses scratches are healing and his legs get the air they need to stay dry. I would love to get these for my mini donkeys also if I didnt think the donkeys would just try to rip them off. I have the standard velcro strap leggings that droop down (even though the ads say they dont) and the tops of their feet are exposed to the flies. My only con for these is the price. I think they could sell them for half and still be making a good profit.

> 24 hourHave held up after a few weeks of use on both an older horse and younger horse. One horse kept ripping it off daily, so no longer use on her. The younger horse wearing them now has a chafing rash on his heel bulb - not sure if it was too tight or because he just runs a lot. Id maybe not recommend using regularly on a more active/sassy horse compared to a tamer horse.

> 24 hourSo far we love these boots. They are flexible, easy to use. They have worked well at keeping my horses legs bug free and dry. I have noticed that one of the seams is already starting to separate after one week, but Im hoping its just one seam.

> 24 hourThey stay up and they work! They dont irritate more mares front legs because she does not get to scrunch them down if she is itchy. Make sure you get the correct size. I needed to get the small size after I found the regular horse size was too large and then difficult to keep up.

> 24 hourHave tried two other brands - waste of money. They slid down, came off and lost their velcro attachments very soon. These went on right after purchase and have stayed on and up, through storms, mud, running, cavorting, and horse shenanigans. I got two pair at once, for two different horses and both love the leggings and the relief from the flies biting their ankles. One mare walked like a drunken sailor for a day or so, but she soon got used to these. I do not ever see them trying to get them off. Thanks for a good product that fills a significant need.

> 24 hourI really like these. My horse gets summer sores and those keep the flies off and he got used to them pretty quick. I would definitely recommend and buy again!!

> 24 hourLoved this. I have an all white horse and have used so many products for flys on her legs. The wraps I had to replace every day and it was expensive. The other Velcro fly boots with Velcro straps would get holes in them and wore out fast and never did fit her. These fly boots are amazing!!! Best thing I ever did for the flys.
